Happy new month (and year), friends!

💫So, periodically, at least one of us tends to care less about engaging on social media which is one of the few reasons we haven’t been on here for a while. But, we kinda miss y’all lol 😆

💫It’s also been an interesting season in our lives. And two things have been crucial for us to still enjoy a rich and satisfying (full) married life:

1. Strong foundations - storms aka challenging times test foundations. And no marriage is exempted. However, the outcome of your 🏠 after the storm will show if you’ve been a wise or foolish builder. So, prepare your marriage today to thrive tomorrow. What better foundation to build on than Jesus Christ and his Word!🤷🏽‍♀️

2. Truly care for each other - selfishness gets you nowhere in marriage. Being able to see your spouse’s needs and step in gracefully is the sacrificial love that marriage thrives on. In doing that, your oneness is strengthened and you can truly say “two are be better than one”👩🏾‍❤️‍💋‍👨🏿

The key is not just consistency, but consistency in actions that are meaningful.

Early on, we decided to cultivate the practice of placing God first, giving grace and forgiveness, deepening our communication, enjoying each other (besties!), doing life with other couples, and then some. 😉
