♻️What a wonderful day yesterday, together with BVA Nudge Consulting and BVA Doxa friends, who moderated the NudgeLab, at the Ticass - Polo EASS office.

An interesting and interactive workshop, that was focused on the promotion of circular economy, specifically towards EcoeFISHent products (cosmetics and food supplements).

Between interesting notions and fun interactive activities, we put ourselves in the shoes of sellers and public buyers, bringing out a sea of ideas!

📍I giorni scorsi tra le mura dell’Incubatore BIC - Incubatore di imprese FILSE a Genova si è riunito il partenariato di Ecoefishent: la terza volta dall’inizio di questo ambizioso progetto che ha preso il via proprio qua Genova ed è capofilato da FILSE SpA - Finanziaria Ligure per lo Sviluppo Economico.

In questa occasione sono stati condivisi i molti risultati raggiunti grazie alla collaborazione tra tutti i 36 partner nel terzo anno di progetto; un incontro che ha segnato ufficialmente l’ingresso nella seconda metà della pianificazione, per guardare ai prossimi obiettivi con grande ottimismo.

🔬Arpal, presente agli incontri con la direttrice del Dipartimento “Stato dell’ambiente e tutela dai rischi naturali” Rosa Maria Bertolotto e, per la parte amministrativa, Valentina Frongia, ha ristabilito il proprio impegno per quel che riguarda le analisi chimiche sui sottoprodotti della filiera della pesca e sui loro derivati come nutraceutici (sostanze biologiche, solitamente concentrate, aventi caratteristiche preventive, riequilibrative, terapeutiche e protettive a livello psicofisico) e cosmetici.

l'8 novembre il nostro Marco Benedetti parteciperà alla premiazione, quale membro della giuria, per la migliore tesi universitarie e its risultate vincenti nel concorso sulle migliori ed efficienti proposte di innovazioni per l'economia circolare nel settore tessile, promosso dalla ass. Chimica Verde Bionet di cui è vicepresidente. La premiazione avverrà a conclusione dell’evento "R&D for the green transition: a public-private strategy: State of the art, opportunities, and best practices. Innovative PHD" a cura del Comitato Tecnico Scientifico Ecomondo & CONFINDUSTRIA.

Since many of our partners are from Italy, it is important for us to raise awareness by sharing these findings to promote better food management habits—especially after the worrying news that in 2024 food waste in Italy has 𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐧 𝐛𝐲 𝟒𝟓.𝟔% compared to the previous year.

The most wasted items?
Fresh fruit, vegetables, and bread — often left forgotten in the pantry 🥦🍏🍞

This report highlights a critical need to rethink how we manage food. Planning meals and repurposing leftovers can make a huge difference in reducing our environmental impac.
