With the release of the breakout track 𝗭𝗢𝗝𝗔 out today, we are pleased to announce 𝗦𝗨𝗥𝗧𝗨𝗠, the second full-length album by MASSIMO SILVERIO out 𝗢𝗖𝗧𝗢𝗕𝗘𝗥 𝟭𝟬𝘁𝗵.

Surtùm is a Friulian word that can be translated as swamp or marshy meadow: a place both real and imagined, a natural temple symbolizing life and death, transformation and rebirth.

This album is a new chapter in Silverio’s exploration of the crossroads between archaic folk traditions, the minority language of cjarnel and contemporary songwriting, enriched by horns, tuba, strings, found objects, and field recordings.

𝗩𝗜𝗡𝗬𝗟 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗢𝗥𝗗𝗘𝗥 are now open on our webstore and on Bandcamp.

This week, Massimo and his trio will close the Hrudja tour at Sonika Art Festival in Campobasso (September 05).

Then on September 25th, they will present the live premiere of Surtùm at the Auditorium of Tolmezzo (UD) in Carnia for the very first time.
