Yes, there’s a heated pool on top of JFK.

At the TWA Hotel in Terminal 5, you can swim above the runway and watch planes take off with an old fashioned in hand.

You don’t even have to stay the night, you can totally get they a day pass for pool access, food, and drinks from the rooftop bar.

In winter, they close it in and turn it into a cozy lounge.

Tucked away in Terminal 5 at JFK, the TWA Hotel is a full-blown time capsule and honestly, it’s one of the coolest hotels I’ve ever stayed in.

From the red-carpeted tunnels to the vintage LIFE magazines. A cockpit bar inside a restored 1958 Lockheed Constellation, an infinity pool overlooking the runway, and the world’s largest hotel gym (no joke).

TWA offers day passes too. Convenient, iconic, and ridiculously fun, right inside JFK.

The day my husband went missing.

I came home from a work trip. The house was empty... his stuff was there but he wasn’t.

I remember the house feeling like a weird type of empty. Not a normal day-to-day type of empty. Just... off.

I told myself I was overthinking it. That there had to be a simple explanation.
So I treated the day like normal.
And I waited.

Hours turned into days.
After days of trying, days of messaging him, and friends trying to find him, it wasn’t until l threatened to report him missing that I finally heard from him.
