⫸If the FIA decides to cancel the classification (which was already postponed to Sunday, 4 hours before the race) because of Typhoon Hagibis, the results of the FP2 will be those that decide the order of the starting grid for the race.
⫸The information was given before starting the second session, so the teams were already aware.

📰🇬🇧Mercedes decided to bring some aero updates at Suzuka🔻
After the summer break, Ferrari has developed his SF90, and now Mercedes is not dominating like they did during the first half of the season.
Toto Wolff said that the upgrade won't be as big as the one Ferrari brought in Singapore, but it will improve the performance of the Mercedes.

Tras el parón veraniego, Ferrari ha mejorado bastante su SF90, con lo que Mercedes no está dominando tanto como en la primera mitad de la temporada.
Toto Wolf dice que la mejora no será tan beneficiosa como la que trajo Ferrari a Singapur, pero mejorará el rendimiento del Mercedes.

Later they met again in London, at the Liberty Media headquarters, with Ross Brawn, and at the end of July a group of engineers with F1 experience has begun to conduct a preliminary study of the new project. 🎙️“Joining Formula 1 in 2021 will be a long-term project.
