Old pic while working on the production of the new Poison Garden - Steampunk Band album, togheter with the super skilled producer and guitarist Stevie Salas. Three songs of the new album are mixed by the grammy nominated audio engineer Tim Palmer (U2, Robert Plant, Ozzy Osbourne, Pearl Jam, David Bowie, Porcupine Three, The Cure and many more) and mastered here by myself. It's been an honor and a really inspiring process, sharing my work with one the most important Mixing engineers of the music industry, he mixed a lot of rock song that I used to listen in my life. Drum tracking as well as part of the recordings were handled at Forward Studios by Stefano Quarta. Defenitely a killer drum sound !

STORMLORD – NEW ALBUM ‘FAR’ DETAILS REVEALED

Stormlord are ready to return on the scenes with the long awaited sixth album, ‘Far’, which includes ten new songs amongst the fastest and most aggressive ever composed by the band, with epic and solemn atmospheres and the best orchestrations they’ve ever conceived.

The lyrical concept is enriched with new nuances, ranging from the traditions of the peoples of the Mediterranean to the myth and glory of the ancient Rome, without forgetting to pay tribute to immortal icons such as Robert E. Howard (author of ‘Conan The Barbarian’), celebrated in the song ‘Cimmeria’.

‘Far’ was recorded between the end of 2018 and the beginning of 2019 by Giuseppe Orlando (Novembre) and Riccardo Studer, while Simone Mularoni (DGM) took care of the mastering duties. Notable hungarian artist Gyula Havancsak (Destruction, Annihilator) is the author of the artwork. The tracklist is as follows:

STORMLORD – RIVELATI I DETTAGLI DEL NUOVO ALBUM ‘FAR’

Gli Stormlord sono pronti a tornare sulle scene con l'atteso sesto album, ‘Far’, che include dieci nuovi brani tra i più veloci e aggressivi mai composti dalla band, pregni di atmosfere epiche e solenni e grandiose orchestrazioni.

Il concept lirico si arricchisce di nuove sfumature, che vanno dalle tradizioni dei popoli del Mediterraneo al mito e alla gloria dell'antica Roma, senza dimenticare di rendere omaggio a icone immortali come Robert E. Howard (autore di ‘Conan Il Barbaro’), celebrato nella canzone ‘Cimmeria’.

‘Far’ è stato registrato tra la fine del 2018 e l'inizio del 2019 da Giuseppe Orlando (Novembre) e Riccardo Studer, mentre Simone Mularoni (DGM) si è occupato del mastering. L’artwork è stato curato dal noto artista ungherese Gyula Havancsak (Destruction, Annihilator). Ecco la tracklist:
