Aphrodite‘s Beach in Cyprus 🐚

They say some places are beautiful.
And then there are places where gods were born.

This beach is the legendary birthplace of the Goddess of Love herself. According to Greek mythology, Aphrodite rose from the sea foam right here, emerging from the waves in all her radiant beauty, carried to shore on a shell as the sun kissed the horizon.

And honestly? When you stand there, you believe it.

The water shimmers in impossible shades of turquoise and deep blue, crashing dramatically against the iconic rock formations that rise from the sea like ancient guardians of a divine secret.

Local legend says that if you swim around Aphrodite’s rock three times, you’ll be blessed with eternal beauty… or true love.

I won’t confirm how many times I swam — but let’s just say I didn’t risk only one 😉
