[REV012] ‘Otospect’ by Marco Fugazza is OUT NOW 💿

Otospect is the debut four-track EP from Maqo, the new moniker of Italian producer Marco Fugazza. After more than a decade of work as Suorcristona, he makes his first appearance on Reveries, opening a new door onto what comes next.

The first sketches of Otospect emerged while preparing his live set. At that stage, the focus was firmly on the dancefloor: visualising the lights, the crowd, the soundsystem and the physical impact of the music, while developing an intricate, heightened interplay of rhythms. At the same time, Maqo wanted to preserve something softer and more elusive: a hazy, fog-laden atmosphere running beneath the rhythmic pressure.
