🗣️ “Let me set the record straight…” – Iyabo Ojo breaks silence on VDM’s arr€st and Justice for Mohbad

“When I began the Justice for Mohbad movement, I made it clear I couldn't do it alone. I called on the public to join, and two groups were formed — one for a peaceful walk, and another called Concerned Citizens for those who still wanted to support the cause after the walk was cancelled.

The goal was simple: get justice for Mohbad, not to get VeryDarkMan (VDM) arr€sted.

You were arrested for de€famat!on, not for seeking justice. Multiple social media links were shared in the group — if one happened to expose parts of your past, how does that tie anyone to your personal issues?

As for your arr€st, I was involved in the first petition — you were only invited then and left the same day. I didn’t follow it up because Paulo pleaded with me to drop it.

The second pet!tion listed me as a witness due to several fãlse accusat!ons made against me. Still, the group's mission stayed the same: exhumat!on, proper investigation, inquiry, and a befitting bur!al for Mohbad. We also agreed that his royalties and catalog should go to his family.

Let it be known: every naira spent on this justice movement came from my pocket. Nobody paid me.

And for the record, VDM — I never asked to see you. It was Officer Suleiman who begged me to make peace. He called me on June 28th at 6:45 a.m., telling me you wanted to meet. I agreed — and peace was made.
