In the ever-evolving landscape of contemporary imagery, Det Kempke moves with a vision that challenges the traditional boundaries of fashion photography. He defines himself as an image-maker, navigating across tools and mediums while preserving a strong authorial identity.
In his latest editorial, artificial intelligence becomes a natural extension of his gaze: not an end, but a means to construct visual worlds that would otherwise be impossible, suspended between retro-futurism and iconic references. Drawing inspiration from the aesthetic of Verner Panton, Kempke creates immersive environments where fashion interacts with synthetic spaces, while maintaining a surprisingly “classical” approach to image-making.
