Stochastic Resonance is a network of electronic artists dedicated to research and experimentation of new forms of communication using multimedia, with the aim of proposing an augmented view of the artwork through a mix of grants and different incentives; as occurs in the physical phenomenon, from which SR takes its name, where the addition noise, the not-si
gnal for excellence, to a low level signal, is able to increase radically the comprehensibility and the acquisition of its full information content. Stochastic Resonance also works as an independent label, unbound by market rules, experiencing in manufacturing and distribution techniques and offering high quality products and outputs whose final purpose is not self-selling, reflecting the idea ofuniqueness and unrepeatable, which is behind the concept of SR name itself.
