An album where the accordion resonates through the time we live in, letting its many voices unfold freely, without borders.

And it’s precisely this sense of boundlessness that makes 𝙊𝙡𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙥𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙖𝙧𝙚 the opening chapter of 𝙀𝙋 𝙃𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙯𝙤𝙣𝙨, a new collection devoted to contemporary soundworlds and artists who move across traditions, textures, and new forms of listening.

🎧 Extended Place is particularly happy to announce the release of 𝙇𝙤𝙪𝙇𝙖 𝙎𝙤𝙣𝙣𝙚𝙩𝙨, a new EP by Ivan Fedele, performed by Claudio Pasceri and the Ensemble Sequenza 9.3, conducted by Catherine Simonpietri!

𝙇𝙤𝙪𝙇𝙖 𝙎𝙤𝙣𝙣𝙚𝙩𝙨 is a work for cello and six female voices, based on three sonnets by Louise Labé, a major figure of the French Renaissance, whose emancipated poetic voice resonates through a vivid interplay between the cello and a female vocal ensemble shaped into a kaleidoscope of lyrical and timbral transformations.

The EP, produced for Extended Place by Alessandro Stella, and with the support of Reggia di Venaria, includes the live recording of the world premiere at the Late Spring Music Festival 2024 🎵

𝙇𝙤𝙪𝙇𝙖 𝙎𝙤𝙣𝙣𝙚𝙩𝙨 is OUT today on all streaming platforms and will soon be available in a precious 𝟰𝟱 𝗿𝗽𝗺 𝟭𝟮'' 𝗩𝗶𝗻𝘆𝗹 𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 at the Venaria bookshop 🎼
