I Big Bamboo Mighty Family nascono nell’autunno del 2002 e la prima danz ufficiale è datata Ottobre 2003.La formazione iniziale è composta da Fabiolous (selecta), Truso (selecta), Mannaggia (selecta) e Maven aka Bubbu (Mc-selecta-rmx producer) ai quali si aggiungeranno Tusker nel 2005, Aidenjah nel 2010 e Nando nel 2012. Oltre che nella capitale, i BigBamboo portano le loro selezioni nelle maggior

i yard italiane tra cui: Milano, Catanzaro, Catania, Padova, Firenze, Grosseto, Civitavecchia, Perugia, Pescara, Bologna, Reggio Emilia, Venezia, Ancona, Lecce... e all’estero a Norimberga, Berlino ed Amsterdam..Come promoter, BigBamboo ospitano a Roma oltre a tutti i principali sound italiani, anche artisti e sound internazionali come General Levy, Ziggi, Million Stylez, Lt Stitchie, SoundQuake, Supersonic, Sentinel, Komposti, Robbo Ranx, Mad Cobra, Konshens ecc..Nel 2008 vincono il Kill Fi Fun Clash a Grosseto contro Full Squad. Dal Novembre 2007 i BigBamboo hanno una serata fissa il mercoledì chiamata “MadsWed” insieme a Macro Marco (Gramigna). Nel 2009 danno vita al progetto Bashfever insieme a Gramigna, Yaga Yaga, Dancehall Soldiers e Frisco. Oltre ad una consistente dub–box, BigBamboo si distingue soprattutto per le selezioni a 360°: dall’hip hop al bashment e dai grandi classici al one drop di ultima generazione, il tutto condito con un gran numero di rmx autoprodotti che spesso e volentieri oltrepassano i limiti della dancehall convenzionale! The Big Bamboo Mighty Family was born in Rome in 2002 after an holiday in Jamaica but the first official dancehall is dated autumn 2003. In the following years the crew promoted a lot of dancehalls in Rome with the most famous artists and soundsystem from Italy and Europe. As a guest Big Bamboo played in all the mean italian yards and also in Berlin, Amsterdam, Geneve and Nurmberg. In 2008 win the Kill Fi Fun SoundClash and in 2012 represent Italy in EuroCup sound clash. In 2007 they started with Macro Marco the Mads Wed dancehall night that is still one of the hottest party in Rome , in 2010 they founded the Bashfever dancehall night with Macro Marco, Dancehall Soldiers, Yaga Yaga and Frisco sound promoting a lot of heavy weight artists like Alozade, Konshens, Mad Cobra, Ziggi, and sounds like Supersonic, City Lock, Poison Dart, Bass Odissey, Soca Twins, Herbalize-it, Komposti, Magash. The long list of dubplates and home-made rmxs allows the crew to play 360° dancehall sets from the classic tunes to the brand new ones always showing great originality and a strong juggling attitude.
