We are deeply saddened by the passing of Maestro Bruno Battisti D'Amario, a legendary guitarist and a cherished, long-time collaborator.

His distinct timbre and guitar work defined the sound of Italian Western cinema, serving as an essential instrumental color within Ennio Morricone’s most iconic scores and more classic film arrangements. Beyond his extraordinary virtuosity, Maestro D'Amario was a person of profound humility and grace.

His music will endure forever. Rest in peace, Maestro, and thank you.

Announcing the long-awaited return of Parbleu

Coming this September 2026, a new 7-inch, 45 rpm vinyl single featuring “Elegua” and “Peut-être fous”. The first digital single “Elegua” will hit all streaming platforms on July 15th. Simultaneously, pre-orders for the 7" vinyl will officially launch on our Bandcamp page.

Sung in the Yoruba language, “Elegua” is a deeply hypnotic global dancefloor anthem that perfectly embodies the collective's signature "equatorial groove" and warm Mediterranean soul. The track is driven by a powerful combination of organic hand percussion, blazing fusion synthesizers, and Afro-tropical rhythms, effortlessly fusing cinematic jazz-fusion roots with a dynamic, contemporary dancefloor energy.

I Marc 4—Maurizio Majorana, Antonello Vannucchi, Roberto Podio, and Carlo Pes—are the definitive backbone of Italy’s golden era of soundtracks and library music. Beyond their work as session legends, they produced a massive body of work at Rome’s Telecinesound Studios, released through their own cult imprints: Nelson Records, Silver Men, and Silver Music.

While the ten iconic Nelson Records volumes achieved worldwide cult status, the final two installments—S.M. 2001 and S.M. 2002—remained the rarest and most enigmatic gems of the series. This collection traverses a wide stylistic spectrum: from the rare groove and proto-hip hop energy of "Trama Nella Metropoli" and "Beat Morbido", to the lush cinematic atmospheres of "Summer In Love" and "Arcobaleno" featuring the ethereal vocals of Edda Dell'Orso.

Sonor Music Editions has meticulously curated the finest moments from these two elusive albums for this first-ever dedicated reissue. Combining the best of Silver Music and Silver Men, this release retains the iconic stencil artwork with a new, striking silver finish—honoring the original sequence while shedding new light on these golden recordings.

Baldan Bembo’s genius lay in his ability to bridge the gap between lush orchestral arrangements and the textures of early electronics.
