Whenever Maestro Cicci Santucci returns to Rome, it is a privilege to witness his mastery. At 86 years old (turning 87 this year), he plays his natural instrument, the trumpet, with a soul and technique that never cease to amaze.

Even though we’ve seen him many times, his performances are an appointment we simply cannot miss. Here, the Maestro performs what is perhaps his most iconic contribution to cinema: the original trumpet solo written for Maestro Ennio Morricone for the film "The Legend of 1900".

The setting is the legendary Alexander Platz — a stage that has hosted the greatest figures in Jazz history.

Cicci Santucci: a living legend.

Out now on pre-order: East Side Supply "Delicatessen / The Bodega" debut 7''.

East Side Supply marks the coming together of two producer/multi-instrumentalists; Bay Area’s Chris Lujan (Life Of Grime) and Reno’s Alexander Korostinsky (Whatitdo Archive Group). Known for their genre-bending aesthetics and analog production styles, the two gathered at Korostinsky’s Archive Group Studios where they wrote and rolled tape on two songs worth their weight in gold.

Lujan and Korostisky found common ground in their mutual love of New York’s bustling Upper East Side 1980s-era culinary scene, diving headfirst into the art of the delicatessen. The sounds that emanated out of the studio could easily be the music wafting through the aisles of a New York bodega. Sonically influenced by classic East Coast hip-hop, East Side Supply blends in their sample-ready beats with their long-standing connection with library music a’la Sandro Brugnolini, Rino De Filippi, and other library heavyweights.

This debut 45 arrives on March 6th courtesy of the infamous New Tape label legacy. Available now at our Bandcamp and Shopify stores.

Gino Marinuzzi Jr. was a pivotal pioneer of the early Italian Electronic music scene, founding the first Electronic music laboratory in Rome in 1956.

His work is strictly linked to cinema and TV, with credits for directors like and . His most famous score remains the legendary sci-fi film "Terrore Nello Spazio" (1965), a.k.a. Planet of the Vampires. This work is a classic in the Early Electronic Sci-Fi Soundtrack canon (alongside The Day The Earth Stood Still & Forbidden Planet), featuring amazing Synket work by the instrument’s namesake, Paolo Ketoff. Marinuzzi Jr., along with Ketoff and Paolo Strini, was the inventor of the 'Fonosynth', the very first centralized system for electronic sound production and processing built in Europe.

In 1971, he released the Library album "Musica Ed Elettronica" for the Sermi label. It cleanly breaks from the late-'60s Italian Moog-discovery lineage of Umiliani & Boneschi et al., adding stronger Abstract and Musique Concrète elements.

Now available for the first time on all digital stores.
