On Wednesday, our series of events celebrating 10 years of our disastrous adventure continues at the beloved Fanfulla 5a. This time, we are delighted to host a screening of the documentary Italo Disco Legacy by our dear friend Pietro Anton.

The screening will be followed by a chat between the director and Oderso Rubini, producer, record executive and key figure in the Italian music scene in the late 1970s and 1980s, as well as founder of the Italian Records label. The discussion will be moderated by Paolo Chemnitz, DJ, music critic and journalist for OndaRock.

Finally, there will be a musical selection curated by Paolo Chemnitz & Ljós Berinn with Asymmetrical.

Hailing from Raw Culture, Anna Funk Damage returns with his third release on the Roman label, delivering a record as fierce as it is intimate. Tarantola was born out of a winter suspended between contrasting emotions – melancholy, anger, love, confusion – distilled into a sound that transforms personal fragility into collective energy. There’s no pursuit of perfection here, but rather an urgency running through the veins, taking shape across supersonic punk, wave, ambient and industrial.

In 2016 Raw Culture release its first cassette at the Roma Records Market, at the Ex Dogana. Tomorrow we blow out our first 9 candles in Rome, at the Fanfulla with the screening of Electronic Body Movie, the first documentary film made about the history and rediscovery of Electronic Body Music, told through the voices of the pioneers who shaped and developed this musical genre and the DJs and producers who were inspired and influenced by this sound. A visual and aural journey into the world of EBM, enriched by rare archive footage, never-before-seen videos of live performances and exclusive interviews that will reveal the secrets of its longevity and show the impact this phenomenon has on contemporary electronic music.
