⌞ ✷✴︎✸✵✸✴︎✷ ⌟ Lykos Records draws its inspiration on such a decadent charm. The label builds its poetics on journeys through time and history, with particular attention to that aura that still today makes both Greek and Latin mythologies eternal and memorable. Victories, defeats, narrations of extraordinary and epic events are depicted into that graphic-musical style characteristic of Lykos Records: from a deep, hypnotic and mental sound to rougher, visceral and pressing ones. A new generation of artists and remixers, flanked by some of the most renowned international masters, are involved. The sound suggested by Lykos legionnaires, through sound design techniques, harmonies, melodies, evocative texture creations and different genres mixed together, makes of each release a story of its own, unique and rare. If ars dicendi, the art of saying or rhetoric, was born in ancient Rome, it is now in contemporary Rome music that promotes the art of conceiving, producing and evoking stories, sensations and memories, by all the techniques already mentioned. Through these sounds, music becomes a language able of communicating emotions: an interiority created by the musical production touching deep inside the soul of the listener. Each release is a unique piece for collectors as it is enriched by hand-drawn artwork. Actually, the ruins of ancient Rome are illustrated by artist Roberto Mulliri, whose works condense the magic of two thousand years of history. His drawings recall the seventeenth-century engravings, with exasperated perspective visions mixed with violent optical effects. The illustrations on the covers of Lykos Records are an invitation to discover some precious Roman treasures - they are a journey through myths and legends between Colosseum, Pantheon and the Imperial Forums. The label is nourished of Rome, of its history and of those souls that roam its streets.

The Lykos digital series returns with the arrival of Andrea Cossu (Andrea Cossu), a Sardinian-born artist who has been based in Berlin for many years, bringing his distinctive vision of electronic sound to the ranks of the Lykos legionaries.

Zeitlos, meaning timeless in German, explores time as something fluid rather than linear, capable of stretching, accelerating and distorting according to our perception.

The EP opens with About Me, a suspended and almost cosmic landscape where distant voices, dub-inflected stabs and luminous textures create a sense of timeless space. Quest brings movement back into the journey, driven by a minimal, rolling groove that gradually pulls the listener into trance.

With Matter of Time, the experience becomes more physical: an organic rolling bassline takes control of the body, while bright, saturated synths bend the perception of space and time. Brando Lupi’s (Brando Lupi) reinterpretation shifts the track into darker and more introspective territory, building slowly towards an energetic climax.

The journey concludes with Kein Druck, bringing everything back to the present through a physical kick and raw, saturated synths, a return to the body, the earth and the here and now.

Zeitlos is a journey through different perceptions of time: suspended, distorted, accelerated and ultimately brought back to the present.

Over the years, Luigi Tozzi has established himself as one of the leading voices in contemporary hypnotic techno. Emerging from Rome’s rich electronic music tradition, he has developed a distinctive sound that seamlessly bridges ambient atmospheres and club-oriented energy, characterized by deep textures, emotional depth and immersive sonic landscapes.

A longtime collaborator of influential labels such as Hypnus, Mental Modern and Outis Music, Tozzi has built a respected body of work that reflects both artistic consistency and constant evolution. His refined approach to production and performance has taken him to renowned clubs and festivals worldwide, including an ongoing residency at Khidi in Tbilisi, one of Europe’s most celebrated underground venues.

A longstanding presence in Rome’s electronic music scene, Sunday Bath is a producer, musician and DJ whose artistic vision refuses to be confined to a single style. While constantly exploring new sonic territories, he has developed a distinctive approach to techno, releasing music on labels such as Secuencias Temporales, Circular Limited and Caninal Rec.
