"Die So Much" the new single by Ai fen is out now.

Featuring Ema Brabcova, Adriana Morn, Kata Mala, and Andrea Rottin, the track opens a new chapter in Ai fen’s sound moving into something raw, luminous, and alive.
The track is an ecstatic summary of the album's ruminations on living within a fragile body for a limited time while being faced with countless births and rebirths, going beyond what one thought possible, to constantly morph and reform throughout one's life. The track was inspired by the experience of giving birth and the feeling of metamorphosis in becoming a mother, an explosive shedding of the prior self that must remain in communion with past layers of selves in order to survive, maintain a sense of identity, and live while living for another.

“Die So Much” anticipates Ai fen’s third studio album, out November 20.

Gone Stray is the new record by Belarusian producer Sasha Smirnova, released on White Forest.

The record unfolds like a raw and intimate diary, moving between processed vocals, heavy basslines, and ambient textures. Across its seven tracks and two remixes, Smirnova turns instinctive recordings into sculpted pieces, stretching and layering her voice, analog synths, and field recordings. On Defined Clarity, Catalan musician nara is neus adds guitar lines that cut through the mix with a sense of urgency and desperation, deepening the track’s emotional weight.

Themes of memory and resilience run throughout: from moments of abrupt intensity and trap-inspired rhythms to passages of stark melancholy. Each track holds tension between past and present, echoing places one can’t return to and futures still uncertain.

Gone Stray doesn’t try to fit into a single genre. It traces the act of searching, for home, for belonging, for clarity, through sound that is both fragile and forceful.

Out today Evident Focus, the second single from Belarusian producer Sasha Smirnova’s upcoming record Gone Stray, out September 26.

Blending ambient pads, vocals that shift from soft and clean to distorted and heavily processed, and trap-inspired beats and basslines, the track conveys a sense of longing and resilience. Over its five-minute span, it continuously evolves, unfolding in a world that resists, echoing feelings of unbelonging and the ongoing negotiation between past and present.

"Anedonia", a 38-minute two-part suite, was composed in 2009 and recently rediscovered.

The album showcases a blend of "Kosmische Musik" influences reminiscent of the early German electronic scene, alongside touches of cinematic electronic textures and experimental 1970s soundtrack elements.

The original archetype of a wounded healer comes from Greek mythology and the story of a wounded yet immortal centaur Chiron and refers to using one’s trauma and pain as knowledge on how to help others.

Healing is political, collective, and cyclical.

Wounded Healer, the sophomore album from sound artist and activist Zosia Holubowska ( ), is out now.

Today marks the release of 'Chleb' by featuring .

'Chleb' is the opening single from Mala Herba’s sophomore album, Wounded Healer, which will be released by White Forest Inc. on September 21, 2024.

Mala Herba is the solo project of producer, sound artist, and q***r activist Zosia Holubowska. Their practice is deeply rooted in Slavic archaic music, and their artistic approach can be described as q***ring archives by reimagining traditional melodies and magical tropes. Their productions are multi-layered narratives that function as healing rituals.

CREATURES 04 is out today.

Together with the last glimpses of summer, in our new Creatures’ drop we are thrilled to welcome F**K!LACRÈME and ATŌMI.
Scanning the furthest reaches of our Forest, we find these two fresh and fluid voices, hungry to emerge in the game.

F**K!LACRÈME’s ‘Who’ is a banger of footwork atmospheres impossible to not dance to.
Obsessive voice samples are chewed again and again on a layer of muscular rhythmic, constantly evolving and morphing to let the energy grow seamlessly.
As essential as incredibly powerful, the tune creeps into the central nervous system as an adrenalin injection, stimulating ancestral reactions and making the body twitch without any possible control.

On the other side ATŌMI’s ‘Absence’ brings completely different scents.
As soon as the listening starts, we suddenly fall in an alternative and liquid dimension.
Sounds reach ears from unspecified points in space, making us feel utterly surrounded and immersed in ATŌMI’s world.
A primordial state envelops and takes over us, but together with this suspensive sensation, delicate but violent bursts of pure energy sting us directly into the marrow.

To celebrate our 𝟏𝟎 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 of activity, we decided to release a series of splits with the idea of composing a sort of multifaceted VA, declined through a collection of episodes.
As in a bio-evolution experiment, we let the ecosystem of our forest develop in an autonomous and independent way, to discover and collect today, after a decade, the most fascinating, unpredictable and unusual creatures grown in there.
𝕮𝖗𝖊𝖆𝖙𝖚𝖗𝖊𝖘 is therefore an imaginary and futuristic codex that lists and describes the thick sound-fauna life-forms evolved endemically in the Italian undergrowth, a starting point for the unconditional development of a new and unprecedented creative bio-mass, projected to the repopulation of our conceptual and stylistic universe.
