King Kong is a talented team, that despite being scattered around the world, chose to take on this extraordinary editorial project. By displaying the work of some of the most creative minds from around the globe, the book stunningly shows how different life paths and approaches merge together into a singular perspective of the streets. The artists in this collection are Giorgio Di Salvo , Camilla Donzella , Panda, Lele Saveri and Sha Ribeiro , and their project aims to exhibit personalities and to capture the emotion and clichés of a post-modern, post-political, and post-artistic generation. August 2023: one of the hottest ever. Rome is deserted and those who haven’t escaped are struggling with their own demons. Luca has one thought, and it’s on the walls of his neighborhood. So he calls Marco, his long-time friend with the same background and the same zip code: that’s it. One makes the glue and attaches the posters, the other takes the photos. Analog. And we are immediately twenty years back, when Montesacro was truly a suburb and the street was truly a stage.
Eighteenth chapter of the 36chambers series, Colla 00139 is a divertissement by an artist and a photographer. It’s a goodbye home because, when you leave, you always come back, sooner or later. It is a declaration of love to those who have turned their passion into a profession.

Colla 00139 is a book that, in 132 pages and more than 100 photos, tells the story of a city that is always moving and changing and continue to insipire his multidisciplinary artists.

Could there be much more of a perfect alias for the young man who brought American subculture to Rome and did so with such a level of vivacity that politics really was as much a part of the party as anything else? The young man behind the name, Massimo was a pivotal figure and not simply in the image of him spinning and pirouetting around the dance floor from the top of his head, as he perfected the iconic dance move of the underground street dance scene, the head spin. He was pivotal in the party scene and in the Friday and Saturday nights of his street dance compatriots, in their vision for their own futures and good times and weekend plans.
