On July 7, at 9:00 AM, the History Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Sarajevo will host the presentation of the book “Resolution 808. Inside the Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia”.
This event marks the beginning of the book’s presentation programme and will be an opportunity to retrace the work of the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia and reflect on the role of international justice and its impact on contemporary wars and societies.
Resolution 808 combines the photographic work of Martino Lombezzi and the journalistic research of Jorie Horsthuis. The first part explores the Tribunal from the inside through exclusive access to its archives and the key figures involved in the trials. It then shifts focus to the Balkans, documenting the stories of war criminals who returned to Serbia after serving their sentences, and reflecting on how the societies of the former Yugoslavia confront their past.
The presentation is hosted by the History Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Sarajevo, in collaboration with the WARM Festival. The WARM Festival in Sarajevo is an international event dedicated to war journalism, photography, and contemporary art, bringing together reporters, artists, and activists to tell stories and document global conflicts.
The History Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina is a place for dialogue, critical reflection, and learning, where contemporary history is explored through exhibitions, research, and public programmes that preserve memory, foster understanding, and contribute to building a more peaceful future.
