🇬🇷 The White Tower of Thessaloniki — standing beside the sea as one of the city’s most recognizable landmarks.

For generations, this waterfront tower has watched Thessaloniki change around it, while the promenade remains one of the city’s most loved places for a walk by the Thermaic Gulf. History, sea, and city life all meet here. 💙

🇬🇷 Santorini or Positano? 🇮🇹

Santorini gives you whitewashed villages, blue domes, volcanic cliffs, and sunsets over the Aegean. Positano answers with colorful hillside homes, dramatic Amalfi Coast views, and terraces that tumble toward the sea.

Two Mediterranean icons, two completely different moods.

Which view would you choose for one perfect evening?

🇬🇷 Athens beneath the Acropolis — where an ancient hill still watches over a modern city.

For more than 2,400 years, monuments such as the Parthenon have made this rocky height one of the most recognizable symbols of ancient Greece. From above, the contrast is striking: marble temples surrounded by the vast living city of Athens.

Would you rather see the Acropolis at sunrise or sunset? 🏛️✨

🇬🇷 Before Alexander changed the ancient world, his story began in Macedonia.

Alexander the Great grew up at Pella, the royal capital of the Macedonian kingdom in northern Greece. His father, Philip II, transformed Macedonia into the dominant military power of the Greek world before Alexander inherited the throne in 336 BC.

Alexander’s campaigns then carried Greek language, art and culture far beyond the Aegean, helping shape what became known as the Hellenistic world.

From Aigai and Pella to Asia and Egypt, the Macedonian dynasty left an extraordinary mark on ancient history.

🇬🇷 One question remained when Alexander the Great was dying in Babylon: who would inherit his empire?

An ancient tradition preserved by historians such as Diodorus says Alexander answered:

“To the strongest.”

The original Greek can also be understood as “to the best,” and historians still debate exactly what Alexander intended—or whether the famous exchange happened exactly as later writers recorded it.

What is certain is what followed: Alexander died in 323 BCE without an uncontested adult successor, leaving his commanders to struggle over the enormous Macedonian empire he had created. The conflicts of his successors would reshape the Hellenistic world for decades.

A few words—or perhaps a legend remembered for more than two thousand years.

What do you think Alexander meant by “the strongest”? 🇬🇷

The Caryatids are among the most unforgettable figures of ancient Athens — sculpted women who do the work of columns while appearing almost weightless.

Created for the Erechtheion on the Acropolis in the 5th century BCE, they blend architecture and sculpture in a way that still feels remarkably elegant more than 2,000 years later.

🇬🇷 Greece is more than a destination — it is a feeling.

Thousands of islands and islets, ancient sites, blue seas, mountain villages, family tables, traditions, and a history that reaches back thousands of years all belong to the same story.

And beyond the landscapes and monuments, there is philotimo — that deeply Greek idea of generosity, dignity, hospitality, and doing what is right.

Some places are beautiful to visit.
Greece is the kind of place people carry with them. 🇬🇷

The White Tower has watched over Thessaloniki’s waterfront for centuries, becoming one of the city’s most recognizable landmarks.

Today, its old stone walls stand beside a lively modern promenade, with the Thermaic Gulf on one side and the city stretching out behind it — a perfect meeting point between history and everyday life.

🏛️ Athena vs Ares — Wisdom or War?

In Greek mythology, Athena and Ares represented two very different sides of conflict.

Athena stood for strategy, wisdom, discipline, and calculated action.
Ares represented the raw force, violence, and chaos of battle.

Both were powerful. Both were feared. But their idea of strength could not have been more different.

Which do you think wins in the end — wisdom or force? 🇬🇷

Under the full moon, the Acropolis takes on a completely different character. 🌕🇬🇷

The Parthenon has watched over Athens for more than 2,000 years, and at night its illuminated columns stand out against the dark Attic hills and city lights below.
