🌟 Domenica 13 aprile inaugura l’Expo Osaka 2025 con Venezia protagonista nel Padiglione Italia! 🇮🇹

Sotto il tema “About Venezia, the most ancient smart city”, la città lagunare si presenta come un faro di innovazione in linea con il tema dell’Expo, “Designing Future Society for Our Lives”. Il Padiglione Italia esplorerà “L’Arte rigenera la Vita”, con videoproiezioni che immergono i visitatori nelle bellezze storiche di Venezia. 🎨

Curato dall’Università IUAV, il progetto include anche eventi con studenti e la valorizzazione del patrimonio culturale italiano. Con installazioni che uniscono tradizione e intelligenza artificiale, il pubblico scoprirà la Venezia di ieri, oggi e domani. Non mancheranno anche esibizioni di bel canto italiano! 🎶

🌟 On Sunday, April 13, Osaka Expo 2025 kicks off with Venice as the star in the Italy Pavilion! 🇮🇹

Under the theme “About Venice, the most ancient smart city,” the lagoon city showcases itself as a beacon of innovation aligned with the Expo theme, “Designing Future Society for Our Lives.” The Italy Pavilion will delve into “Art regenerates Life,” featuring video projections that immerse visitors in Venice's historical beauties. 🎨

Curated by IUAV University, the project also includes events with students and the enhancement of Italian cultural heritage. With installations that blend tradition and artificial intelligence, the audience will discover the Venice of yesterday, today, and tomorrow. Italian bel canto performances will also be featured! 🎶

🌟 4月13日（日）に大阪博覧会2025が開幕し、イタリアパビリオンでヴェネツィアが主役になります！ 🇮🇹

“About Venezia, the most ancient smart city”というテーマのもと、歴史的な美しさを持つラグーンシティは、「私たちの生活のための未来の社会を設計する」という博覧会のテーマに沿った革新の灯台として登場します。イタリアパビリオンでは「芸術が生命を再生する」を探求し、訪問者はヴェネツィアの美しさに包まれるビデオプロジェクションを楽しめます。 🎨

IUAV大学がキュレーションしたこのプロジェクトでは、学生とのイベントやイタリアの文化遺産の振興も含まれています。伝統と人工知能を融合させたインスタレーションで、観客は昨今、今、そして未来のヴェネツィアを発見します。イタリアの美しい歌のパフォーマンスもお楽しみに！ 🎶

🔎 Scopriamo i simboli nascosti!
🇮🇹 Nei suoi grandi occhi brilla la Stella della Repubblica Italiana, riflessa nell'azzurro del cielo e nei colori del nostro Tricolore.
🌿 Sulla testa, una corona di ulivo e quercia, emblemi di pace, forza e dignità, sormontata da una corona turrita, richiamo all’iconografia classica dell’Italia.

🇮🇹 In her big eyes shines the Star of the Italian Republic, reflected in the blue sky and the colors of our national flag.
🌿 On her head, a crown of olive and oak branches, symbols of peace, strength, and dignity, topped by a turreted crown, a classic representation of Italy.
📜 The lower part of her kimono features a tribute to the sovereignty of the Italian people: the parliamentary hemicycle!
🇯🇵 But Italia-chan also celebrates Japan!
🌸 She wears a cherry blossom in her hair, a symbol of ephemeral beauty in Japanese culture.

Some reflections about intercultural "engagement".

Thank Jeff O'Dea once more, for his useful and valuable insights. The following one was about “Engagement” and how leverage it among people of different nationalities and or in different countries. Since a universal definition of "engagement" may not be applicable across all cultural settings, it's crucial for me to define and select an economic strategy that aligns with your company's cultural context, clearly outlining what engagement means for you and the expectations you have for it.
For many cultural reasons Italian consumers do not exhibit their engagement making direct comments and similar to Japanese consumers, they are more captivated by storytelling and by emotional and experiential content that leaves a lasting impression over time. That said I think tailoring engagement strategies to resonate with the cultural context of the target audience, according to the shared expectations, is very important.

Jeff O'Dea 様いつもお世話になっております。貴重で有益なご見解をいただき、大変参考になりました。今回のテーマは「エンゲージメント」と、その概念をどのように活用し、異なる国籍や国の人々の間で促進していくかという内容でした。
「エンゲージメント」の普遍的な定義がすべての文化に適用できるわけではないため、自社の文化的背景に合致した経済戦略を明確に定義し、エンゲージメントが何を意味するのか、またそれに対する期待を具体的に示すことが私にとって非常に重要だと思います。
文化的な理由から、多くのイタリアの消費者は直接的なコメントなどでエンゲージメントを示さない傾向がありますが、日本の消費者と同様に、ストーリーテリングや感情的・体験的なコンテンツに強く惹きつけられ、それが長期的に心に残るものに価値を見出します。そのため、ターゲットとなるオーディエンスの文化的背景や共有された期待に基づき、エンゲージメント戦略をカスタマイズすることが非常に重要だと思っております。

Grazie come sempre Jeff O'Dea, per i suoi preziosi e utili spunti. Quello che segue riguarda "Engagement" e come sfruttarlo tra persone di diverse nazionalità e/o in diversi Paesi. Poiché una definizione universale di "engagement" potrebbe non essere applicabile in tutti i contesti culturali, è fondamentale per me definire e selezionare una strategia economica che si allinei al contesto culturale della propria azienda, delineando chiaramente cosa significa engagement e quali aspettative ingloba. Aspettarsi che il pubblico o i consumatori commentino attivamente, partecipino a call to action o esprimano le proprie opinioni come segno di engagement potrebbe portare a delusioni quando si ha a che fare con un pubblico italiano, che potrebbe trovarlo fastidioso. Secondo me per molte ragioni culturali i consumatori italiani non mostrano il loro coinvolgimento facendo commenti diretti o partecipando alle call to action e, come i consumatori giapponesi, sono più affascinati dalla narrazione /storytelling e dai contenuti emozionali ed esperienziali che lasciano in loro un'impressione duratura nel tempo. Detto questo, penso che adattare le strategie di engagement per entrare in sintonia con il contesto culturale del pubblico di riferimento, chiarendo e condividendo le aspettative, sia molto importante. , , , , , ,
