It’s officially autumn! This seasonal photo was taken on the P & O Azura in 2024 when we cruised the Canary Islands. We love cruising at this time of year. It’s usually a little cooler, less crowded and we are more in need of some sunshine and daylight.

We had a very exciting morning at Saga Cruises HQ talking all things cruise and how we met working onboard the Saga Rose many moons ago!! It was very fitting that they have a model of the Saga Rose as you enter the building. They also have the ship’s bell!!! Thanks for having us Saga Cruises!!!

Beth here - I was just making a cup of tea and my little Norwegian troll friend was sat there in the corner of the kitchen. This is where he lives. On top of the tea canister. Got me thinking - souvenirs you buy when cruising, where do you display them at home?

Do you collect magnets? Christmas tree decorations? Mugs? Have you run out of places to display your cruise souvenirs?!???

Have you taken a Christmas Market River Cruise? With less than 100 sleeps until the big day, we are looking back to December 2025 when we took our first ever river cruise with VIVA Cruises - Enjoy the Moment onboard the Viva Tiara. We sailed the Rhine and Main for 4 nights, spending the big day onboard. Christmas Eve in Strasbourg was particularly magical.

We have spent quite a few Christmas away but this year we are actually going to to be home! (Well we are away for a few days before hee hee)
