Mums support each other through the joys and challenges
women face with raising their children in a metropole. In
addition to sharing views, chats and tips online, London Mums
strongly believe in face-to-face interaction and organise ongoing
activities for mums (and dads) and childre

n – parties,
multilingual playgroups, seminars and workshops, trips to
exhibitions at the National Gallery, movies at the local cinema,
nature walks, etc. The service is run by mums and mumpreneurs
for other mums and children and is FREE for everyone to join.

Last night the Italian community and authorities in London gathered at to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Italian Republic, a historic milestone marking eight decades since the nation chose democracy over the monarchy as well as the very first time Italian women voted in a national election, a foundational victory for civil rights and democratic equality.
I would like to personally thank our Consul General Domenico Bellantone and his wife Marilu’ for their dedication to support Italians in the UK by really making fundamental changes in modernising the administration systems to speed up operations and really understanding what matters to Italians abroad. As I’ve said to him many times, Bellantone has been the best Consul in my 28 years in London. I will miss them both and wish them the best for the future.

Throughout the winter I could not stop watching promo video which shows groups of friends dancing to classic disco hits, deep cuts, 70s & 80s classics including my friends and myself. It’s nostalgic, it’s euphoric, it’s glittery brilliant fun - yes, Lost In Disco is back at West London’s most beautiful venue, the fabulous Bush Hall this weekend, on Saturday June 13th for another full night of 70s and 80s magic.
Donna Summer. Chic. Chaka Khan. Earth, Wind & Fire. The kind of music that makes strangers dance together and everyone go home smiling.
Regulars who’ve been coming since the start, first-timers who can’t believe they waited this long, all dancing like nobody’s watching. It feels less like a night out and more like a reunion with people you haven’t met yet.
