*C of O doesn't stop us from retrieving Land in Lagos, Yoruba Conservatives tells Igbos.*

*The Yoruba Conservative has clear the air on ownership of land in Lagos stating that no amount of proof of ownership can stop them from retrieving any land on Lagos soil.*

Some people believe because they have lived in Lagos for years and own a property or land means they have same right as Yoruba. But thats not true. You are in Lagos to do business, and because Yoruba welcome and accommodated you by selling you a land doesn't mean those land are gone. Absolutely not! You don't own the land, you are only permitted to use it as long as you don't disobey or disrespect your host Yoruba. Which means you own that land because you and the seller are in good terms.

Even if you paid millions to acquire it, that doesn't stop us from getting the land back. There are many reports flying everywhere that Igbos said they own Lagos and they already bought all the land. This make me laugh because according to us, we don't agree and believe in what they believe.

The certificate of occupancy is between you and the government but not between us. We never for once believe in that. We don't do things on court order. We do things on our own. We can demolish any building without court order, we can give a quit notice to landlord without a court order if we think such landlord is chewing more than he can bite or disrespecting the native people of Lagos.

If certificate of occupancy is the reason why anyone will say they own a place, then I think they already missed the point dealing with people like us. Yoruba Conservative is a native movement that is guided by ancestral history, not by any court.

You can give it any definition or call us any names, but that's the fact. Therefore if anyone thinks having a C of O can make him disrespect us by talking anyhow, then the person has missed it. We will definitely come for such person sooner or later.

If you lived in the UK or US, even if you are a citizen, you still have to respect the native English or Native Americans. The moment you start misbehaving, you may be in trouble.

Yoruba in UK, US and even within Nigeria has never called another tribe land a No Man's Land even if they have lived their for hundred years. You will never hear our people disrespecting their host. So why should we allow that from foreigner.

In igboland, they don't even sell land to non igbos, they only care about themselves. So if you come to Lagos and start misbehaving, then you must face the consequences of your action; and the time has come already.

I don't know why Joe Igbokwe is crying below is his response and he wrote:

Ayoade Ojeniyi, Ayoade Ojeniyi, Ayoade Ojeniyi how many times did I call you? Do not start what you cannot finish. What is the meaning of this? What are you implying? Of what meat are you fed? Have you forgotten that Lagos was the capital of Nigeria for 86 years until IBB moved the Capital to Abuja in I990 after a coup that shocked him to the marrows? Will the non indigenes carry their houses to their village when they die? One man from Orlu in Imo State owned nearly 70 houses and when he died he was not buried with those 70 houses in Orlu. Ayoade, Ayoade please why is Oyo, Ogun, Osun, Ondo, Ekiti not developed like Lagos? Did you develop Lagos?

Everybody East , West, North or South is investing in Abuja today and tomorrow Abuja indigenes that were fully compensated and relocated by the Federal government team led by the late Justice Akinola Aguda will come back to begin to claim Abuja as their own abi? No wonder a plot of land Former Governor Fashola approved for me in 2013 at Abijo GRA with C/0 was stolen and I am yet to recover it till date. All efforts to retrieve that one plot of land have failed. But let me say it here: nobody born of a woman will steal that land from me. I have lived in Lagos for close to 40 years and I have served this state with every energy at my disposal and I cannot be treated like a foreigner in my own Country.

Monumental Federal assets were left in Lagos when the Federal government was moved to Abuja . I am aware of how these monumental assets were sold and the ones ceded to LASG. I came across some people who were selling those properties and I do not know where all the money realized went to. These were the assets that belonged to all Nigerians. Who sold those assets and where did all the money go to? Let fear God small now

Ayoade, Ayoade, Ayoade I know about Nigerians who live in America and Europe, Asia etc who own houses there and when they die will they come home with those houses? Will the houses be uprooted and transported to Nigeria? Let us put our thinking caps now. Make Shame Catch us small now. May we not start what can cannot finish.❗

Accountability, Not Vengeance: A Message To Those Visiting Our Leader

In the sacred cause for the freedom of Biafra, history will not judge only those who opposed us; it will also judge those among us who betrayed the spirit of the struggle. And today, this message is specifically for those who have the rare opportunity to sit face to face with our detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra(IPOB). May you be reminded that you enter that DSS gate carrying not just your own voice but the expectations, the pain, the sacrifices, and the destiny of an entire people. What you do with that access matters deeply.

Let us be clear: access to our leader is not a badge of status. It is not a title. It is not a right to manipulate or weaponize his name. It is a sacred trust, one that must be handled with the highest level of humility, discipline, and accountability.

You ensure that your proximity reflects purpose because, in every revolutionary movement, proximity to leadership has always been a dangerous place. It becomes the breeding ground for opportunism, clout-chasing, and worst of all, personal revenge disguised as loyalty. If you go in to see Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, our leader, and you carry with your private grudges in your heart, or with the intention to fuel divisions, eliminate opposition, or bend the struggle to your personal image, you are not serving Biafra. You are sabotaging it.

So, it is very pertinent that you ask yourself: When you sit with our leader, do you report truthfully? Do you represent the will of the people or your own interpretation of the struggle? Do you carry him updates to liberate his mind, or are you shielding him from realities for selfish positioning?

The truth is, some of you are becoming gatekeepers of confusion, using your meetings with the leader to issue threats, create chaos, and promote fear. This is not the character of revolutionaries. This is the tactic of tyrants.

You must not forget that the Biafra restoration Struggle Is Bigger Than Any One Man. This is true even if your purpose were never pure.

So, while we revere our leader and believe in his divine calling, let us never forget that freedom is never won by a single person, nor is it protected by blind loyalty. The legacy of this struggle is not in the leader’s name alone, but in the collective blood, sweat, and agony of our people.

Those of you who sit with him must ensure he remains connected to that reality. Do not become his filter. Do not be the reason he is misled. Be the channel through which he stays in touch with the ground, the pain of the widows, the hunger of the displaced, the doubts of the youth, and the wounds of the faithful.

If your mission in visiting him is to get revenge on those you disagree with, if your motive is to silence fellow agitators who challenge your behavior, if your agenda is to position yourself as the “heir” or “power broker", then hear this loud and clear: You are a traitor in disguise.

Accountability Is Not Disrespect

Some of you mistake questioning for rebellion. You think being held accountable is disrespect. No. Accountability is the engine of integrity. The people have every right to ask questions, to seek transparency, and to resist manipulation. And if your only response is to scream “saboteur” or hide behind the leader’s name, then maybe it is not them who is betraying the struggle; maybe it is you.

We need leaders who welcome truth, not yes-men who manipulate it. We need soldiers of conscience, not gatekeepers of confusion. And most importantly, we need those visiting our leader to remember: you are not going in there for yourself. You are going on behalf of millions who may never get that chance. Therefore, Vengeance Has No Place in This Struggle.

The Biafra struggle was never born out of vengeance. It was born out of justice. Out of the will to survive. Out of the yearning to be free. If we allow vengeance to drive us, we will repeat the same wickedness we accuse others of. If every step we take is to destroy those we dislike, then how are we different from the oppressors?

Revenge will never restore Biafra. But accountability, order, unity, and discipline will. Let this be your mindset as you go before our leader. Carry updates, carry facts, carry hope. And most of all, carry humility.

We Are Watching. History Is Watching.

Gone are the days when power could hide in shadows. The people are awake. They see the moves being made. They hear the secret recordings. They notice the social media declarations. You cannot pretend forever. What you say to our leader must match what you say to the people. And if there is a contradiction, history will record your name on the wrong side of the page.

Do not forget tomorrow, because, the prison gates will open. Our leader will be free. And the same people you try to silence today will still be there. How will you answer to them? How will you prove you were truly loyal?

In Conclusion

This is not a call-out. It is a call to conscience.
To those who visit our detained leader, let your presence there reflect dignity, truth, and selflessness. Be a channel of peace, not a megaphone of vengeance. Do not use your access to fight personal battles. Do not destroy in the name of protecting. Let every moment spent with our leader be guided by one principle: accountability to the Biafran people, not revenge against your rivals.

This struggle is too sacred for petty minds. Let your actions prove you are worthy of it.
