Beverly Wilshire…March 11th…Another successful gala for “An Unforgettable Evening” for The Women’s Cancer Research Fund (WCRF) as it welcomed guests at the organization’s flagship An Unforgettable Evening gala on behalf of Honorary Chairs Rita Wilson & Tom Hanks, along with Gala Chairs Jamie Tisch, Laurie Felheimer, and Mary Alice Haney Davidov, and Co-Chairs Whitney Cummings, NJ Falk, Tom Ford, William P. Lauder, Tig Notaro & Stephanie Allynne, Martin Short, and Sofía Vergara. Hosted by comedian and writer Whitney Cummings, the event was held at the Beverly Wilshire to raise money to benefit the Women’s Cancer Research Fund, a program of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation
Sofia Vergara presented the “Unsung Hero Award” to founder, CEO, and entrepreneur Anastasia Soare for her generosity and leadership in supporting The Women’s Cancer Research Fund.
Jennifer Lopez made a surprise appearance topresent the “Courage Award” to actress, producer, and director Kerry Washington for her courage and advocacy for the cause.
Hosted by comedian and writer Whitney Cummings, the event was held at the Beverly Hilton for its 27th anniversary and raised money to benefit the Women’s Cancer Research Fund, a program of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF).
