Well the commute didn’t go as planned, but huge thanks to Lappert’s ice cream shop for offering a floor pump unprompted. Highly recommend the pump and the ice cream 🍦🍦🍦

The Strade Bianche Grand Fondo did not disappoint! So much fun ripping around the Italian gravel. Riding 45’s on the Trek Checkpoint was a great call. While those who chose road tires were suffering, we were flying. 7500+ feet of climbing, all punchy climbs. I highly recommend joining for this one!

nailed today’s schedule. 50km of riding to catch both the men’s and women’s races on the famed Strade Bianche roads, quick shower, then the women’s finish, lunch by a TV to catch the fireworks go off in the men’s race, the a few steps over to watch the men’s finish with all the fans. Chef’s kiss.

After a year + riding a RockShox, I’m excited to get back to a rigid fork with this beauty from . The V2 Monster fork has a flip chip to alter the offset and space for up to a 2.4” tire! I’m going to source a 2.3.
