3 myths about the Dolomites I need to clear up 🏔️

1. They’re just for ski season. Winter is stunning, yes — but summer might be even better. Wildflower meadows, long golden light, lunches on a terrace at altitude. A whole other side most people never see.

2. They’re in Austria. They’re gloriously Italian. Northern Italy, where you order a spritz at lunch and apple strudel by 4 — two cultures, one impossibly beautiful region.

3. You have to be a mountaineer. You have to like a good view and an even better lunch. The gondolas do the climbing for you. Your toughest decision is spa or sun terrace.

The Dolomites are so much more than the postcard. There’s a right way to do them — and that’s exactly what I do.

The chef personally invited us and now I can’t stop talking about it 🌿
sorrento just opened in Sorrento and it is the most exciting restaurant on the Amalfi Coast right now- zero meat, all flavor, and a chef who genuinely cares about every single bite.

The la tavola girlies were not ready. Neither was I.

10 years living in Italy. Learning the language, navigating life abroad, and discovering just how hard it is to truly connect and make friends here.

As a working mom who’s been raising my kids in Italy for 7 of those 10 years- I know the loneliness of that firsthand. And I didn’t want anyone else to feel that way.

So I built La Tavola.

Women (and men!) coming together to connect, network, and support each other through the beautiful chaos of life abroad. A space for open-minded, passionate people, and anyone who isn’t afraid to break the glass ceiling.

Last night proved me right. 🍷

Women from all over the world making connections & finding supporting in each other, and by the end of the evening, it felt like we’d known each other for years. That’s the magic of Italy. That’s the magic of this community.

A huge thank you to and for hosting us with such warmth and grace. The food, the setting, the energy- perfection. 🌿 And thank you to all the wonderful women who joined this fun evening!
