"The Canadian filmmaker Mike Hoolboom sent me this interview (dated 2023) with the Icelandic field recordist Magnús Bergsson, specialized in field recording. Focused on environmental topics, not only from an artistic viewpoint, its material over the years has been freely available on the website fieldrecording.net (where every use of all the loaded tracks, as the same author recommends, must be copyrighted and provided with the given permission). His contribution appears on several albums by worldwide composers, with one of the most recent being the electronic work Mælifell (Möller Records, 2024) by the Turkish musician Elif Yalvaç."
