My love for photography stems from a strong desire to shout to the world how extraordinary life is, to tell wonders and make my wonder explode. The pain of the human condition can only annihilate itself in the face of all this, leaving space for unknown and vibrant streets of light, who knows where they will lead, with their hearts in turmoil because there will be the dream. Here, the dream, the pivot of my life, I daydream and I dream with closed eyes, everything that goes beyond what everyone believes is reality and therefore limit, end, fence. I often return to the same places, to be able to interpret them, listen to them, realize what I have been blind about, what they want to tell me or what I can say through them, a thousand infinite possibilities. I’m trying to translate into a meaningful message all the energy I have inside and that at times tears me apart and the only thing that has always been clear in me and in my shots is precisely the desire for a different dimension, not lucid, porous, dirty, living, which absorbs the soul and the gaze, which makes one cry, laugh, scream, love, dance and fight. A dimension that makes you be, strongly be, with a watchful eye so as not to step on but to respect.
February 2016 in Florence “In viaggio con la fotografia – scenari urbani e naturalistici” (“Traveling with photography – urban and naturalistic scenarios”) at Simultanea Spazi d’Arte, a Florentine curatorial reality conceived and directed by Daniela Pronesti and Roberta Fiorini, both historians and art critics. An exhibition dedicated to photography that wanted to offer a cross-section of the contemporary interpretation of one of the most popular genres in the
history of photographic art, the so-called “landscape”, whose scope includes both urban and natural spaces, in black and white and color, from real to fantastic.

2012 – basic photography course at Foto Club Diaframma Zero with Gianluca Bocci (He writes articles on culture, technique and current events for magazines such as Progresso Fotografico and Clickblog).
