Anche le immersioni notturne rimangono un'occasione speciale per amare il lago. Nonostante la scarsa visibilità tipica dei mesi estivi, ecco il nostro unico vero "pescato sostenibile": un'espressione talmente abusata da suonare ormai come un ossimoro e un'amara distopia rispetto alla realtà dei fatti.
Tanta plastica vecchia e nuova, inclusi i soliti attrezzi di pesca che soffocano l'ambiente e uccidono la vita sommersa. Immancabile l'ennesima pallina da golf, di cui a Salò conosciamo fin troppo bene il triste motivo. Finché non comprenderemo che ogni nostro singolo gesto ha un impatto diretto sugli ecosistemi e non adatteremo i nostri comportamenti al rispetto della natura, il pianeta continuerà inevitabilmente a collassare.
Even night dives remain a special opportunity to love the lake. Despite the poor visibility typical of the summer months, here is our only true "sustainable catch": an expression so heavily overused that it now sounds like an oxymoron and a bitter dystopia compared to the reality of the facts. Plenty of old and new plastic, including the usual fishing gear that suffocates the environment and kills underwater life. Unavoidable as ever, yet another golf ball, and in Salò, we know the sad reason behind these finds all too well. Until we realize that every single action of ours has a direct impact on ecosystems and adapt our behavior to respect nature, the planet will inevitably continue to collapse.
