Art and music are in their darkest period ever. Everything is becoming image and appearance.
This is the verge of total collapse!
The culture of musical instruments being used as a means of expressing one's inner self is being lost to the culture of “press play on your laptop”.
It seems that one is no longer capable of even being able to perform two simple notes.
What should unite us in a fulfilling and totalizing experience vanishes in the slavery of modern customs.
Here in Turin, music is in the hands of local promoters’ mafia, who speculate on it and use it as a pretext to cover up and beautify their rotting faces. Money, money, money and people consuming ... something is clearly wrong!
What is the point of all this?
Light the fuse of your thoughts, look consciously and lucidly at the past learning what has been done to transpose it into the radiant future!
Music should unite us and be a source of creativity and artistic and spiritual enrichment.
This century that may seem dark and hopeless has a hidden facade that you might grasp.
Unite, create, take a synthesizer and a drum machine, imagine two chords and express what you feel!
Be a reflection of the world around you, this is the perfect time to change the way things are.
The minimal revolution is behind your door and you could be a part of it too.
Stanze Fredde Vol. 2 is a compilation that was born to shed light on the music of unknown or emerging artists and to support our yearly festival, that this year will take place at El Paso Occupato (Turin, Italy) on November 15th.
