Danilo Pérez, along with one of the greatest bassists in contemporary jazz, John Patitucci, and the drummer, composer, and educator, Adam Cruz, will close the 28th edition of the Moncalieri (IT) Jazz Festival event.
Danilo Pérez is a UNESCO Artist for Peace, Cultural Ambassador for the Republic of Panama, founder and Artistic Director of the Panama Jazz Festival, as well as founder and Artistic Director of the Berklee Global Jazz Institute at the Berklee College of Music in Boston.
John Patitucci, a two-time Grammy Award winner with over fifteen nominations, has linked his name to the greatest artists in the jazz music scene; just to name a few: Chick Corea, Wayne Shorter, Pat Metheny, Stan Getz, Herbie Hancock, Freddie Hubbard, and many others.
Adam Cruz, active on the international jazz scene for the last two decades, has played and recorded during his career as a drummer with artists as diverse as Danilo Perez, Tom Harrell, McCoy Tyner, Chick Corea, Pharaoh Sanders, John Patitucci, Eddie Palmieri, Joanne Brackeen, Chris Potter, Edward Simon, Steve Wilson, Charlie Hunter, and Lee Konitz.
