GENAU Unlimited, the GENAU Recordings sub-label focused on non-linear electronic sounds, returns with its third release. Exilles is a project born from the alchemy of two minds, united by a common desire to undermine, compose and recompose raw, corrosive and dreamy sounds with a mystical and enigmatic imagery. They strictly perform live, orchestrating ancestral ceremonies with analog machines and modular synthesizers, whose dark and hypnotic sounds chase the persistent in a synesthetic atmosphere.

With their techno built around the polarity of light and darkness, black and white, continuously keeps us poised between opposites, between consciousness and raving.

After years of experience of residency as LiveAct/DjSet among European Techno scene with other alias, they release the first ep as Exilles on Involve Records, followed by other ep’s on A.R.T.S, Planet Rhythm, Persistence and their own Genau Recordings. They performed Live in different Clubs like Smolna, Griessmuehle, Fabrik and more.

TTØRA is a project that integrates musical instruments with electroacoustic/analog/digital music components. Many of the sound samples are recorded around the world with a handy recorder, then developed digitally in post-production. Acoustic Prolusions blends the composer’s various musical backgrounds, producing a totally hybrid and personal sound. On top of that, the arrangement and mixing are done with a particular technology that permits a binaural immersive listening, enhanced particularly with headphones. This EP represents a new step that follows previous research in 3D music and spatialization. Its realization was possible thanks to producer Riccardo Mazza from Experimental Studios and his experience in spatial mixing.

TTØRA is a side-project born in parallel to the academic path of Diego Ratto. Musician and composer, he started as a self-taught guitarist and then entered academia studying Jazz Guitar and Electronic Music, graduating with two bachelor’s degrees at the Music Conservatory of Alessandria (Italy). Afterwards, he specialized in Electroacoustic Composition with a Master’s Degree in Music at the KMH - Royal College of Music in Stockholm (Sweden). He is currently a PhD student in Music Composition at the UCSB - University of California Santa Barbara (USA). His acousmatic works have been performed in many festivals around the world and his music has been awarded in several international competitions, including: Sound of Silences - Edison Studio - Romaeuropa 2020 (Rome, ITA), Golden Lala Awards 2020 (Poznan, PL), Musicworks Magazine Electronic Music Contest 2020 (Toronto, CAN), Wocmat 2018International Phil Winsor Computer Music Competition (Taiwan), Rimusicazioni Film Festival 2018 (Bolzano, IT), Residency Prix CIME 2017 - International Confederation of Electroacoustic Music, Electroacoustic Contest EFME 2016 (Santa Fe, RA).
