🎹 La Palma d’Oro Piano Competition – First Round Schedule 🎶
We’re ready to begin!

Here is the audition schedule for the First Round, taking place at Teatro Concordia in San Benedetto del Tronto from September 26 to 28.

📍 Teatro Concordia – Largo Mazzini 1

🕒 All candidates must arrive 30 minutes before their scheduled
performance time.

🎧 A Clavinova will be available at the venue for warm-up.

🎹 Practice rooms with acoustic pianos will be open at Istituto Vivaldi, Via Leopardi 23, with the following timetable:

- Thursday 25th: from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM
- Friday 26th and Saturday 27th: from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM
- Sunday 28th: from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM

🎹 Official Press Conference — La Palma d’Oro 2025

This morning we held the official press conference for the 9th edition of the La Palma d’Oro International Piano Competition, in the presence of the City Councillor for Culture prof. Lia Sebastiani and local media represented by Tiziana Capocasa.

We’re proud to welcome 50 talented pianists from all over the world and look forward to a weekend full of music, passion and excellence.

Thanks to the City of San Benedetto del Tronto for the support, and to all who are making this edition so special.

We're thrilled to introduce another esteemed member of our jury for the 2025 edition: M° Shiran Wang!

Shiran Wang's musical journey began at an early age, leading her to achieve awards in many international competitions.

She has been invited to perform with orchestras including the North Czech Philharmonic Orchestra, Rome Symphony Orchestra, Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra, State of Mexico Symphony Orchestra, Moravian Philharmonic Orchestra, Slovak Radio Symphony Orchestra and the State Philharmonic Orchestra of Daejeon, Korea. She has also staged solo concerts for the works of specific composers, such as the solo concerts for Rachmaninoff and Chopin in Hong Kong. She performed with the Škampa Quartet at the International Music Festival Český Krumlov in 2014.

Shiran Wang's first album was published and released by China Record Corporation in 2007 and will record Shostakovich's Piano Concerto No. 1 and Piano Concerto No. 2 with the conductor Maxim Shostakovich, and Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2 and Piano Concerto No. 3 with the Rome Symphony Orchestra.
