🕊️ Kelley Mack, ‘The Walking Dead’ Actress, Dies at 33 After Brave Cancer Battle
Hollywood is mourning the loss of Kelley Mack, the talented actress best known for her role as Addy in Season 9 of The Walking Dead. Mack passed away peacefully on August 2 in her hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio, following a courageous battle with diffuse midline glioma, a rare and aggressive form of brain and spinal cancer.

Mack’s breakout role came in The Walking Dead, where she portrayed Hilltop Colony resident Addy across five episodes
She also appeared in Chicago Med, 9-1-1, and starred in indie films like Broadcast Signal Intrusion and Mr. Manhattan
Her voice work included matching Hailee Steinfeld’s Gwen Stacy in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and various national commercials

Mack was also a producer and filmmaker, with credits on award-winning shorts and the upcoming feature Universal, where she served as both star and executive producer
A graduate of Chapman University’s Dodge College of Film, she was passionate about storytelling in all its forms
💔 Tributes and Legacy Her sister Kathryn shared a heartfelt message on Instagram:
“Such a bright, fervent light has transitioned to the beyond… She will be missed by so many to depths that words cannot express.” Kelley’s family noted she had “already come to many of her loved ones in the form of butterflies 🦋,” a symbol of transformation and peace.
🧠 Her Final Months In January 2025, Mack publicly shared her diagnosis and the physical toll it took, including losing mobility in her legs. Despite the pain, she continued working and inspiring others with her resilience and grace.
She is survived by her parents, siblings, grandparents, and her boyfriend, Logan. A memorial service will be held on August 16 in Glendale, Ohio, with a celebration of life planned in Los Angeles.
