let’s call this one The Witness Effect.

isn’t it funny how confidently we can record ourselves...right up until the exact moment our significant other or someone we’re close to walks into the room?

case in point you see me in the vid scrambling to close my camera 🤣 like I’ve just been caught doing something i shouldn’t be.

whenever this happens we both just burst out laughing and I lose my concentration.

it’s crazy to me how we can be so brave to record ourselves onscreen with potentially thousands of people seeing us but be so vulnerbale in the moment when we’re being witnessed by someone we know in the act of creating content.

it feels strangely embarrassing. haha

i don’t know what it is about being *seen while creating*, but it feels so much more exposing than sharing the finished thing.

please tell me this isn’t just meā€¦šŸ¤—šŸ¤—šŸ¤—

One of the most expensive habits we’ve developed as business owners is outsourcing our thinking.

We borrow hooks.

We save carousels.

We collect templates.

We buy prompts.

None of those things are inherently wrong. I’ve done all of them.

But I also wonder if constant consumption slowly teaches us to distrust our own thinking.

We stop asking,

**ā€What do I think about this?ā€**

and simply ask,

**ā€What does everyone else think?ā€**

The irony is...

the content that converts isn’t usually the content with the cleverest hook. It’s the content with the clearest point of view.

People don’t buy from creators who have the most information. They buy from creators who help them see things differently. They have A SIGNATURE THOUGHT.

That doesn’t happen because you found a better template nor is an idea invaluable because it’s original.

It’s valuable because you know how to build an argument around it.

That’s the difference between content that gets a polite ā€œnice postā€...

and content that changes someone’s mind enough to buy.

Lately, that’s what I’ve been obsessing over.

Not **what** to post.

But how to take one small idea and develop it into something that earns attention, builds trust, and naturally leads to a sale.

That’s the philosophy behind The Thought OSā„¢.

It’s not another place to organize your content (although it is in Notion). It’s the operating system for coaches, service providers and everyone in between who wants to turn ideas into signature thought into clients.

If your current content strategy is opening Instagram and hoping for divine intervention... 😌

As in all things in life, this is a matter worth examining.

Content wise, I have a loooooot to say. But i will leave it at this:

šŸ«† if you don’t want to speak on camera, you don’t have to. Don’t get swayed into doing so because it’s a ā€œthingā€

šŸ«† if you can’t be on here every single day, you don’t have to. Your REAL life is more important.

šŸ«† if you can’t be aesthetic, you don’t have to. Who wants to have the same white/beige kitchens anyway?

šŸ’… now back to the nails? What do we think about this movement? ā˜ŗļø
