In "Aufwind" we tell the story of the two Berliners Charlotte Möhring and Melli Beese, the first two German women to obtain a pilot's licence and to assert themselves in the male domain of aviation. Our story takes place in 1912 in the Ruhr region, where Charlotte and Melli meet on the occasion of an airship baptism. While some men try to keep all women away from flying, Charlotte and Melli fight for their self-determination and, as pioneers, shape the early history of aviation 👩🏻‍✈️✈️.

Just met up with Luise Befort . She is the leading actress in Aufwind and plays the role of the young and ambitious Charlotte Möhring, a woman with fighting spirit like no other 💪. Thank you for your awesome performance 👏. It was amazing to get the chance to work with you!

IT'S A WRAP 🤩! Die Dreharbeiten für unser immersives VR Filmerlebnis Aufwind sind vollendet. Was für eine mega Erfahrung mit einem super Team. Sowohl die Darstellung der Schauspieler vor der Kamera, als auch die Leistung vom gesamten Team hinter den Kulissen hat uns total begeistert ❤️!

Ein riesengroßes Danke geht an unserer Förderer, die Film- und Medienstiftung NRW, an die Schauspieler: Luise Befort, Wotan Wilke Möhring, Michelle Barthel, Sarah Alles-Shahkarami, Moritz Führmann, Patrick Joswig, Hendrik Heutmann, Benjamin-Lew Klon, Max Günther, Michael Alberts und Michael Gernot Sumper, an das Volumetric-Capture Studio Volucap und natürlich an unser unschlagbares Team von NEONREAL 🙌.

5 Kameras, aber ein leeres Studio 📸? So sieht das Storytelling von heute aus.

WOW! Noch 2 Tage bis zum offiziellen Start von Essen 1887! Wir freuen uns riesig über das extrem positive Feedback, das wir bisher erhalten haben🤗. Ein solches Projekt gab es vorher noch nie und wir sind unfassbar stolz 🎉🥂.

Natürlich war das, dementsprechend auch für die beteiligten Schauspieler unserer Mixed Reality Experience für Essen, eine gewisse Herausforderung 💪. Die dennoch alle selbstverständlich perfekt gemeistert haben👏.

Um als dreidimensionaler Charakter in einer Experience aufzutreten, braucht es eben das etwas andere Set und Team hinter den Kulissen und der Produktion 😉👨‍💻…
Eine Herausforderung, die wir gerne angenommen haben. Die Ergebnisse können sich sehen lassen, ab diesen Freitag dem 1ten April in Essen 📅📍!
