Fox Studio

Fox Studio Recording facilities in 🇮🇹Venice, Italy and 🇺🇸Seattle, WA. Owned and operated by Andrea Volpato.

“Fox Studio is the place where I spend most of my time recording, composing and finding new music expressions. I started building Fox Studio Venice when I was child, in an old dismissed barn. It is located in the venetian countryside, 2 minutes from the Venice Airport and 10 minutes from Venice Island. Fox Studio Seattle was built in 2022 and it is located in the Greater Seattle Area, about 45 min

far from Downtown Seattle and 35 min from the Sea-Tac Airport. I am profoundly fond of both music and the artist who produces it. My goal is to understand the latter with all of their needs, in order to find the best recording combination to add value to their uniqueness. Who comes to Fox Studio brings to my life a new creative stimuli, and I think this is the best part of my job”. Andrea Volpato is a multi-instrumentalist musician, producer and sound engineer. His education consists of a BA in Sound Engineering from the Conservatory of Music in Padua, a Masters in Audio Mastering from APM in Saluzzo, and a Contemporary Drums Diploma from the CPM in Milan. He took the chance to sharpen his sound engineering skills by working at Gran Teatro La Fenice in Venice, recording and mixing operas for RAI. He plays drums with Love In Elevator and has co-written, recorded and mixed the 7" "Unlocked / Beyond Your Inner Sea", released on Coward Records, as well as the latest album "Lies To Stars", released on Fuzzy Cluster Records and Riff Records. He previously played drums with Autumn’s Rain and released two albums and one EP on Go Down Records and Valery Records. Moreover, he toured Europe as the drummer of the Mexican band Lorelle Meets The Obsolete in 2016. Since 2017 he has been the guitarist of New Candys, with whom he toured Europe, the UK, Australia, the United States, Canada, Mexico and Balkans. With New Candys he has recorded, mixed and co-produced two studio album ( "Bleeding Magenta" and "Vyvyd") released on Fuzz Club and Little Cloud Records. In 2020 he began collaborating with Seattle artist MØAA and subsequently recorded, mixed, produced her debut album as well as co-wrote hit single "X Marks" and continues to play live as the lead guitarist and second vocalist in the project. With MØAA he has toured Europe and the US and opened for artists such as Yves Tumor and played SXSW as part of the official showcase in 2022. The project has a second album "Jaywalker" coming out October 13th 2023 via WWNBB Records in which Andrea also recorded, mixed, and co-produced the album.
