The region's no 1 music station At that time there was no commercial radio in the Channel Islands, only local BBC radio. Satellite radio was in its infancy.

Celebrating over 30 years of the region’s no 1 music station

Contact 94 broadcast on the FM band to Normandy and the Channel Islands between 5th September 1988 and 29th November 1991. BBC Radio 1 was only a poor medium wave signal. The big music stations were Radio Luxembourg and Radio Caroline. 30 years later in September 2018, we celebrated for 18 months with a brand new internet station - Cont
