Winner, winner Kismet dinner.... 🥳. Next on our list of wonderful eateries who have offered up a delicious meal for two for one of you is Kismet Cabana! Their Savour menu launched today. Check out the Local Beetroot And Orange Salad with caramelised pumpkin seeds, baked local Douet Farm goats’ cheese or the Ancho Chilli Bean Cassoulet with pressed local pork belly (from Brooklands Farm) or smoked tofu / Mexican pesto (nuts). We were aiming at a recommended £20 price point but Ransoms Tearoom and Restaurant have really got the perfect 2 course menu, featuring all Genuine Jersey ingredients for just £17. Speaking of Jam, welcome to Jersey Pearl Cafe who logged in and signed up. Their menu is three courses with ice cream from Jersey Dairy or crème brulée with eggs from Happy Hens 🥳

We're all set with our set menus and ready to start profiling our local restaurants that use Genuine Jersey products to create their fantastic food throughout the Autumn. One of our first menus is from the family-run Dorans Courtyard Bistro, featuring food from The Fresh Fish Company, Fungi Delecti and Woodlands Farm Butchers. Tennerfest and other fests like it were obviously considered when restaurants approached us trying to create a more local-based quality meal promotion with our Appetite 'Savour' Food Festival. Our research so far seems to consider that £30 is the fair price to pay for a good meal. With that in mind, it's amazing to see that there is still one option on the tennerfest available for ten pounds; a main course at Tiki Hut! Whilst we're looking to list menus that are at a higher price point, we're looking for ones that support local producers too, so invest in your diet!
