Podcasts open doors that meetings cannot reach. (If done well)

Leaders are busy and do not want meetings.

They do want quality content for their channels.

When you offer them a platform, they win... you win.

You get the connection and they get assets.

Once the recording ends you are no longer strangers.

You have built a genuine professional connection.

It is the smartest way to build trust.

This makes you the go to person in your field, not just for your guests, but also for their network.

Get the message right, we handle the editing and production for you.

Be the Waitrose of your industry.

Not the Iceland.

Red Bull didn't build an empire by selling drinks, well… they kind of did but not by mentioning how great it is in every ad.

They built a media brand around extreme sports.

Now, Waitrose is doing something similar, but with their podcast 'Dish', hosted by Nick Grimshaw and Michelin-starred chef Angela Hartnett

Who is reading printed recipe cards in this day and age?

People search YouTube and podcasts for inspiration long before they visit a supermarket.
Waitrose knows this.

They aren't just selling groceries anymore, they’re creating media people actually choose to consume:

- Their branded podcast has reportedly hit 1 billion views.
- It's pushing the Top 20 on Apple and Spotify.
- They just launched a 15-minute weekly YouTube series for food education.

Now my question is:

If a supermarket can think like a media network... what’s stopping you?

Most people get content volume completely wrong.

They think it means running on a hamster wheel, trying to invent 50 unique ideas every single week.

It doesn't. You don't need 50 ideas.

You need one "Macro" piece of content, like a one-hour meaningful podcast conversation that solves your prospect's problems.

Then you chop it into dozens of short clips and text posts.

People are scared of the word "volume" because they think it means sacrificing quality.

But the truth is that with volume is how you actually achieve quality.

You need the reps to get good, I know this, I am a YouTube partner with over 360 Youtube videos, 21k subs and counting, still tweaking and adjusting every day.

More volume gives you more data.

Data tells you what your audience actually cares about.

That data allows you to tweak your message.

And the right message always wins.

Volume shouldn’t be a scary word.

If you produce it with your prospect in mind, it is a winning formula.

We’ve all seen this happen.

The video looks stunning.

The audio sounds like BBC Radio 1.

But the business gets absolutely nothing in return.

Why? Because all the audience hears is a car salesperson in action.

Then, the founder blames podcasting for not working.

But podcasting isn't the problem.

The problem is you made the content all about you, instead of about your audience.

Attention is the ultimate currency.

To get it, you need to plan your message and yes, we could help with that too.

Our job at Jersey Podcast Studio is to extract as much content as possible from a single one-hour recording.

But if you only plan to talk about your product features and how cool your business is... good luck with that.

The question shouldn't be: "How do I create the most content?"

We handle the volume. You just need to focus on solving your prospects' problems.

The real question is:

"Is this helping the right people trust me more?"

Not every business should start a podcast.

You can't really call it a podcast if you only plan to record one episode, or if you just want to test your message before committing.

On Friday one of our clients booked the studio and only wanted the short video clips from a long recording.

We have seen this before, and it is a brilliant way to produce content.

Stop forcing yourself to be a presenter in highly scripted videos that terrify you when looking straight into the camera.

With us, you just turn up and talk.

We handle the tech, the editing, and even the distribution.

Just come in and have a conversation, we get your clips.

Lots of debating for no reason.

Spotify just turned 20.

To celebrate, they swapped their flat green logo for a 3D disco ball.

Instantly, the internet lost its mind.
Users called it "hideous".

People thought their apps were broken.
Marketers rushed to tear it apart.

My only question is: So what?

You are focusing on the wrong things.

Spotify is the exact same platform it was a month ago.

The audience is still there.
The audio still plays.

Instead of debating a temporary icon, use the platform for what it is built for.

Share your thoughts.
Grow your brand.

Complaining about a logo is just a waste of time.

Press record, publish your content, and ignore the noise.

The rest matters a lot less than you think.

Was choosing DFDS the right decision for Jersey?

This this is definitely a conversation that deserves much more than an hour to fully explore.

(Or a better host, to be completely honest)

But I hope this podcast addresses some of the many questions you might have right now.

The truth is that you just don't...

But, there is a big but, what you really need is to create content that solves a problem for your prospects.

If all you’re planning to do is talk about yourself and not your audience, get back to newspaper and radio ads.

You’ll likely have better success… or not.

I sent Justin Bieber a guide on how to position his we**am for a remote podcast and we still ended up with this Coachella chin shot.

Okay, I didn't actually send him a guide (or speak to him at all, for that matter).

But looking at that viral screenshot, I bet if I called you on Teams right now, you would be doing the exact same thing.

Your setup dictates your authority.

Stop giving us the "chin shot" and follow these 4 basic rules:

- 𝐄𝐲𝐞-𝐋𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐚: Prop your laptop on some books. Looking down into the lens is incredibly unflattering and makes you look like you are glaring at the audience.

- 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭: Put the window or lamp in front of you. Sitting with a window directly behind you turns you into an anonymous true-crime silhouette.

- 𝐅𝐢𝐱 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠: Center yourself with a little "headroom" above you. Don't chop your forehead off, and don't float at the bottom of the screen.

- 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐜𝐤 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝: Keep it tidy. Most importantly, check your preview to ensure a houseplant isn't magically growing out of your head.

If you are trying to win high-value clients, an amateur we**am shot simply won't cut it.

At Jersey Podcast Studio, we completely eliminate this problem.

When we bring remote guests onto your show, we send them a foolproof setup guide and act as their virtual technical director behind the scenes.

We ensure they look broadcast-ready, so you never have to worry about interviewing a chin.
