Pulse45 Pathways - first stint ✅️

A great half-term block done and dusted with local schools, opening doors to athletics for kids to show their talent.

Today we launched something new.

Pulse45 Pathways is bringing athletics to the masses, with dedicated athletics sessions for local schools.

Over the next 5 weeks we'll be at & Haute Vallee, providing opportunities for youngsters to realise talents they may not know they have.

Here we go! Our final spotlight for 2025, and it's focused on one of the most promising athletes on the Jersey Sport Performance Sport Programme.

Millfield Senior School & Tigers Swimming Club product Filip has smashed a game of swim-fast bingo this year - crossing off record after record & title after title on British, European and world stages.

ATHLETE SPOTLIGHT - Jersey Rowing Club duo Hylton Harvey & Hector Harvey

Two brothers with Team GB colours to their name, and international ambitions in their sights.

Hylton & Hector Harvey have enjoyed a productive 2025 Stateside, having both swapped Island waters for US College programmes.

The siblings continue to fly the Jersey flag with pride and are on course to add to their accolades next year.

We’re back for a final few rounds in our Athlete Spotlight series before the New Year - and we’re finishing strong.

In his first year as a professional, Island golfer Jo has enjoyed a solid Alpstourgolf season, with a top-five finish in Spain in July being a standout display. The former Jacksonville University NCAA representative dreams of reaching global stages & the PGA TOUR.

ATHLETE SPOTLIGHT - Jack Kennedy

Some more time on the swim, bike & run today as triathlete Jack takes centre stage for the Jersey Sport Performance Sport Programme.

Former Island Games team gold medallist Jack claimed a senior national title at the 2025 Triathlon Ireland Sprint Distance Championships, and his international ambitions remain strong as we approach a Commonwealth Games year.

ATHLETE SPOTLIGHT - Isaac Thompson

We've had a week off, but we're not done yet!

Back with a bang today as we throw Island swimmer Isaac Thompson into the limelight, as part of our series featuring athletes on the 2024 and 2025 Jersey Sport Performance Sport Programme.

Isaac's junior career has included appearances at the Youth Commonwealth Games for Commonwealth Games Association of Jersey and the European Youth Olympic Festival with Team GB. Can he continue that form into 2026? We hope so!
