Gratitude changes perspective.

Honoured to have delivered the second keynote address at Couples Negril under the theme:
✨ Galaxies of Gratitude – A Future Beyond Excellence ✨ on May 15th, 2026

It was a meaningful evening celebrating dedication, resilience, teamwork and the people whose service continues to create unforgettable experiences. I also reflected on the lessons of Hurricane Melissa and how gratitude helped inspire my latest book, Give Thanks For Life.

What are you most grateful for today?

7 months later… they’re still showing up.
Since November 2, ROC: Restoring Organic Communities and Nicole Phillips’ team have continued supporting the Bluefields Bay Area after Hurricane Melissa.
🍲 Soup kitchens
🌱 Seed planting
🏥 Health missions
🧹 Clean-up efforts
🏡 Rebuilding support

While many moved on after the headlines… they stayed committed.

What they lack in size, or perfectly shaped, they make up for in taste, freshness, nutritional value and natural growing methods

No shortcuts, just patience, care, sunshine, healthy soil and nature doing its work.

Plus, harvesting these tomatoes after Hurricane Melissa feels even more rewarding.

🇯🇲 National Labour Day 2026 🇯🇲
This Labour Day, let us move beyond words and put love for the country into action.

Under the theme “One People, One Purpose. In All Things, Jamaica Wins,” every Jamaican has an opportunity to make a difference in our communities — whether through cleaning, painting, repairing, planting, or simply lending a helping hand.

Too often we complain about the state of our surroundings, yet real change begins when ordinary citizens decide to become part of the solution.

Let us come together as one people with one purpose:
✅ Restore our communities
✅ Support our schools and sports facilities
✅ Inspire our young people
✅ Build national pride and unity.

No contribution is too small. One hour of service can leave a lasting impact for years to come.

This Labour Day, don’t just watch the transformation… be a part of it.

🇯🇲 Together, Jamaica Wins! 🇯🇲

Life has taught me that every challenge comes with hidden opportunities. So, the problem is not always the absence of solutions, sometimes it is our mindset.

When we become too focused on obstacles, we can unintentionally blind ourselves to the possibilities around us.

THROWBACK AND ALSO A REMINDER OF WHAT IS POSSIBLE

This video was recorded 3 years ago when Bluefields Organic Farm was in full bloom

The trees were thriving. The farm was flourishing. The vision was alive everywhere you looked.
Fast forward to today — 6½ months after Hurricane Melissa — and much has changed.

Many trees were lost. Buildings damaged. And rebuilding continues daily. Yet this old video has now become one of our greatest sources of inspiration.
Because it reminds us:
👉 We have grown before
👉 We can grow again
👉 And our best days do not have to remain behind us

We continue rebuilding with the intention not just to recover but to surpass those glory days.

📖 That journey of resilience, rebuilding, and gratitude is captured in my latest book: 'Give Thanks For Life'

🎥 Watch the video and tell us: What part of the farm would you most love to see restored first?
