Ghana also supplied humanitarian aid including rice, medicine, blankets and more to Jamaica.

Ethiopia has received historic artefacts returned from Germany after being held for almost 100 years. The items were taken during periods of conflict and have been at the centre of Ethiopia’s restitution efforts.

Officials described the handover as an important step toward restoring cultural memory. The artefacts will now be preserved in national museums and made accessible to the public.
