The Government of Jamaica has secured US$480 million through its first structured securitization transaction in international capital markets. The securitization deal will see the government receiving any surplus earned by KingAir above a set benchmark on an annual basis. Once the bond is repaid, the government will resume collecting 52.33% of the revenue generated by the Norman Manley International Airport.
