Oh nothing...just casually making chocolate from scratch 🤭🍫 that’s right! From the tree to bar
This recipe took almost 2 weeks to make🫠 but I promise it’s totally worth it
Ingredients: [may vary depending on the amount of cocoa nibs]
* 1¼ cup Cocoa Nibs
* ¾ cup Powdered Sugar
* 6 tbsp Anchor Milk Powder
* 6 tbsp Cocoa Butter, melted
Instructions:
* Pick 3 or 4 Cocoa fruits from your tree round di back.
* Remove seeds and place them in a container covered with a towel. Leave it so that it ferments for 7 days, occasionally turning them after day 3.
* After fermenting, roast the seeds at 400°F for 20 minutes.
* Allow them to cool then peel away the shell (should come off very easily), to reveal the Cocoa nibs inside.
* Using a blender or food processor, grind the Cocoa nibs until powdery.
* Add the milk powder, powdered sugar, and cocoa butter and blend together for 10 minutes until smooth.
* Temper the chocolate so that it can have that shiny finish and crisp cracking sound.
* Pour the chocolate into your mold and put it in the freezer for 1 hour.
* Once solidified, pop it out and enjoy! ❤️
