Jieng Cultural Festival 2025:
Now Free for All! At no cost.

Juba, South Sudan - the Organizing Committee of the Jieng Cultural Festival 2025 is pleased to
announce that entrance to the festival will now be completely free to the public.

The initial festival announcement,shared through our official poster,indicated that the event
would take place at Juba National Stadium with entrance fees.Following its release,we received
overwhelming feedback from the public,with many calling for the event to be made free and
accessible to all,emphasizing the importance of inclusive cultural celebration.

In response to this public appeal,and in the spirit of unity,the organizing committee held its 3rd
official meeting and unanimously resolved to make the festival free of charge.Please Note!
Preparations are ongoing,and a new date will be announced as soon as possible.The venue
remains Juba National Stadium.

We call upon all communities,cultural groups,artists,and citizens across South Sudan to
prepare to participate in this great celebration of Jieng culture and heritage.

๐‰๐ฎ๐›๐š, ๐‰๐ฎ๐ง๐ž ๐Ÿ—, ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ“ โ€“ President Salva Kiir Mayardit has directed the newly appointed Governor of Warrap State, Bol Wek Agoth, to travel immediately to the state and take charge of restoring law and order amid heightened insecurity.

The directive was issued during a meeting on Monday at the State House in Juba, where Governor Agoth briefed the President on his plan to proceed to Warrap promptly and begin his mission. The President assured the governor of his full support as he takes on the critical role of stabilizing a region that has been rocked by years of communal conflict.

Governor Bol Wek Agoth, who was appointed last week, vowed to work relentlessly to usher in peace, stability, and harmony in Warrap. He pledged that his administration would focus on reconciliation and development as part of efforts to heal the wounds left by years of unrest.

He also appealed to the people of Warrap State to denounce hostilities and embrace peace, while calling on humanitarian agencies and development partners to support peacebuilding initiatives in the state.

Governor Agoth takes office at a time when parts of Warrap are experiencing a breakdown in security, with intercommunal clashes and lawlessness impacting civilian life. His overarching mandate is to end the violence and initiate a process of healing and social harmony across the state.

Laika, real name Laika Umuhoza explained that marriage would mean quitting music, and that can only happen if a man offers her all those privileges

If both Kator Football Club and Jamus SC qualify for the group stage, Jamus SC will secure $700,000 while Kator FC will secure $400,000 regardless of the position they will finish in the group stage.

If they qualify for quarterfinals, Jamus SC will get $900,000 while Kator FC will get $550,000. And if they reach semifinals; Jamus SC will get $1.2M while Kator FC will get $750,000

If Jamus SC win the Champions League, they will walk away with $4.0M while Kator FC walks away with $2.0M if they win the confederations cup.
