The label started out of the need to come up with an avenue to get his music and the
music of his colleagues on the radio and into the recording industry mainstream. The mission of the label somewhat remains the same with its core function being
artist development, recording and recently added digital distribution which is a
vital piece of the music puzzle. At Jafrican Music aspiring artist are taught to be the full package from media
relations to fan interaction
As studio engineer at Stage Studio owned By the world renown Fab Five Band
Barrington work with artist such as Bunny Wailer T***s Hiberts Pam Hall
Ernest Wrangling, Chalice, Sandra Brooks,and Robert and Jeneeve
He garnered a lot of recording experience which is brought forward in his own
production some of which is from legendary record producer Clive Hunt, Grub
Cooper of Fab Five, Studio Engineer Ricardo Jones and Richard Small
He has recorded a host of artists well known and aspiring, most notably
“Junior X”. Bertus,,Point
Blank,Rasi Ras ,Tidal Wave ,Fyah Blaxx, , K Wise, Wazzi, Pesty, JR ,Red
Starr, J Aries, and gospel group La-Twain. Amique and Professional Daynjah
The label is in the final stages of preparation to release three EP's with varying styles and quality from artistes such as Pesty(Young Irie) *J.R*, and Barry Cash
