قبر السيدة العذراء هل هو حقيقة تاريخية؟
من الناحية الأثرية:
* يوجد بالفعل مزار وقبر قديم جداً يعود إلى القرون المسيحية الأولى في القدس.
* معظم الكنائس التقليدية (الأرثوذكسية والكاثوليكية والأرمنية والسريان والأقباط) تكرّم هذا المكان باعتباره قبر العذراء.
* لا توجد أدلة أثرية قاطعة يمكنها إثبات بشكل علمي أن الجسد الذي دُفن فيه كان للعذراء مريم نفسها، لذلك يُنظر إليه على أنه موقع تقليدي مقدس يحظى بإجماع مسيحي واسع أكثر من كونه حقيقة أثرية مثبتة بشكل نهائي
Is it a historical fact?
From an archaeological perspective:
* There is indeed an ancient shrine and tomb in Jerusalem that dates back to the early centuries of Christianity.
* Most traditional Christian Churches—including the Orthodox, Catholic, Armenian, Syriac, and Coptic Churches—venerate this site as the Tomb of the Virgin Mary.
* However, there is no conclusive archaeological evidence that can scientifically prove that the body buried there was that of the Virgin Mary herself. Therefore, the site is generally regarded as a sacred traditional pilgrimage site, supported by a broad Christian consensus, rather than as an archaeological fact that has been definitively proven.
