شرفًا عظيمًا لفريق نشرة وبودكاست طلبة المدرسة الوطنيّة الأرثوذكسيّة: إيـﭭولڤ، في العام العاشر لتأسيس النشرة، أن يكون السيد محمد الخالدي، مقدّم برنامج نبض البلد على قناة رؤيا، ضيفنا لنشاط إيـﭭولڤ لهذا العام في اللقاء التفاعلي الذي نظّمه الفريق يوم الثلاثاء 3/12/2024 بعنوان “التغطية الإعلامية في ظل حرب الإبادة على غزّة” . الشكر الجزيل للاستاذ محمد على منحنا الفرصة لمعرفة المزيد عن الصحافة والإعلام، خاصة خلال حرب الإبادة الأخيرة على أهلنا الأبطال في غزّة وكل فلسطين (ولبنان مؤخّرا) من خلال مشاركتنا خبرته وحواره المُلهم والمشوّق. نشكر الرئيس التنفيذيّ في مجموعة رؤيا الإعلامية، إبن الوطنيّة الأرثوذكسيّة، م. فارس الصايغ، على تشريفنا بحضوره. ونقدم بالشكر لأعضاء الهيئة الإداريّة في جمعيتنا الأم، الجمعية الثقافة والتعليم الأرثوذكسية ولمديرة مدرستنا السيدة مي القسوس، ورئيسة المرحلة (9-12) السيدة صوفي زغلول وجميعرئيسات المراحل والإداريين والمعلمين وزملائنا الطلبة الذين تفاعلوا معنا في هذا اللقاء.

For our EVOLVE Event, in EVOLVE’s 10th anniversary year, we were happy to host journalist Mr Khalidi , presenter of Roya TV’s ‘Nabd al Balad’, Tues. 3/12/2024, in an interactive session at .shmaisani.official, entitled “Journalism During Genocide”. A huge “Thank You!” to Mr Khalidi for a most interesting and inspiring session. A big thank you also to Roya Group’s Executive Director, NOS Alumni, Eng. Mr Fares Sayegh , for gracing us with his presence. We also thank the Board Members of our school’s parent organisation, the Orthodox Educational Society, as well as NOS School Principal Miss May Gossous, Head of Stage (9-12) Miss Sophie Zaghloul and all the heads of stages, school administrators, students, teachers, and parents joined us.
To all the EVOLVE Team members who helped organize this successful event, you make us proud.

يصادف 29 تشرين الثاني "اليوم العالمي للتضامن مع الشعب الفلسطيني". تعاني فلسطين وشعبها من الاضطهاد والظلم منذ أكثر من مائة عام، وفيما يلي بعض أهم التواريخ التي أسهمت في هذا العناء. نحن، "فريق نشرة وبودكاست طلبة المدرسة الوطنيّة الأرثوذكسيّة: إيـﭭولڤ"، نقف مع فلسطين وشعبها البطل، اليوم وكل يوم، إلى أن نرى فلسطين حرّة، وعاصمتها القدس.

يسعدنا أن نعلن عن إطلاق الحلقة الأولى لهذا العام من بودكاست طلبة الوطنية الأرثوذكسيّة “يلّا نحكي”، جزء من نشرة وبودكاست طلبة الوطنية الأرثوذكسية - إيـﭭولڤ ، وهي الحلقة الثانية من البودكاست، وكلنا فخرون بأن تكون مدرستنا هي الأولى التي تدعم طلبتها في انتاج بودكاست.
وحتى مع إصدار حلقة الجديدة، ظلت قلوبنا وعقولنا مع المأساة المستمرة في فلسطين وخاصة في غزّة العزّة؛ لذى، خصصنا فقرة في هذا البودكسات عن كيف يمكننا التعبير عن تضامننا مع أهلنا غزّة وكل فلسطين، فالحفاظ على وحدتنا ووقوفنا مع فلسطين كان دائمًا وسيظل دائمًا أولوية بالنسبة لنا في إيـﭭولڤ
بالإضافة إلى فقرة فلسطين، تتضمن الحلقة لقاء مع مرشدة الجامعات، ونصائح للدراسة (والتي نحتاجها جميعا مع اقتراب الامتحانات!).
لقد بذل فريق البودكاست جهودا مميزة لإعداد هذه الحلقة، وكلنا حماس لنشارمها معكم ونستمع إلى آرائكم.

We are proud to unveil the 1st EVOLVE Podcast episode for this year, and the 2nd EVOLVE Podcast overall (“Yalla Ni7ki”), part of EVOLVE: NOS Students’ Newsletter & Podcast, and we are proud that our school is the first to support the production of a student podcast.
Even with the release of our new podcast episode, our hearts and minds are still with the ongoing tragedy in Palestine, especially Gaza. So what can we do to help? Our new episode contains a segment showcasing a spotlight on the issue to help spread awareness. Maintaining our unity and standing with Palestine has always been and will forever be a priority to us in EVOLVE.
In addition to the Palestine segment, our podcast includes an interview with NOS University Counsellor Ms Sabrina Salameh as well as a segment with Study Tips (which we can all use with exams coming up!)
Our dedicated Podcast Team has poured their hearts and souls into crafting this episode, and we can’t wait to share it with you.

‎مع انتهاء الفصل الدراسي الأول من العام الدراسي الحالي 2023-2024، وبدء عطلة الشتاء ووجود وقت فراغ اكبر للتصفّح والقراءة، نشارك معكم العدد الثاني من نشرة “إيـﭭولڤ” التي يصدرها فريق نشرة وبودكاست الوطنيّة الأرثوذكسيّة، وكم يحزننا أنه، وللمرة الثانية، يأتي عدد هذه النشرة في ظل كابوس الإبادة الجماعية في فلسطين التي ما زالت مستمرة حتى مع اقتراب عيد الميلاد المجيد.
‎لنصلي لإخواننا وأخواتنا في فلسطين كل ساعة من كل يوم، وندعو الله أن يأتي عيد الميلاد المجيد بمعجزة وقف العدوان الوحشي الغاشم على غزّة وعموم فلسطين وتحريرها من الاحتلال الصهيوني الغاصب.
‎ نتمنى عيد ميلاد مبارك لجميعكم.

As the first semester of the school year comes to an end, and winter break begins, with more free time for leisure reading, we share with you the 2nd issue of EVOLVE, issued by the newsletter team of the NOS Students’ Newsletter & Podcast.
It is very saddening that, for the second time, the issue is released while the genocide against our brothers and sisters in Palestine continues, even as Christmas approaches.
Let’s use this holy time of year to pray for our brothers and sisters in Palestine, every hour of every day, and wish for a miracle to end this barbaric attack on Gaza and the rest of Palestine, and for Palestine to be free of this oppressive occupation.
We wish you all a blessed Christmas, and a peaceful New Year.
